And I completely agree with the Standard argument. I personally think with the two standards running, one should always be for testing and the other for your typical standard.
Personally, I liked it better when we had a SFM and TFM queue. I think smaller games should be separated from larger games (MS does this). Small vs. Large is a pretty significant factor and I believe many players prefer one over the other. Like ICE said, while your game took almost 2 months was running, one or more smaller SFMs could have potentially been completed. Also, there are probably players in our player base who prefer smaller SFM games over larger ones. If smaller games keep getting backlogged due to large ones that take nearly 2 months to complete, players who favor smaller games are less likely to be active on the site. This is especially important with players who are newer to the site because if we go long periods of time without running a game that they're interested in playing, we are less likely to retain them.
I don't see any issue with running a smaller, quicker SFM game like Steins;Gate at the same time as a larger SFM that takes at least a month to complete.
Other than modslots and episodes, Standards are dependent on what's up in the queue? Maybe create a separate queue for testing experimental roles?
