Thief or Charmer for Forum Mafia

Thief

You were once the greatest thief that never have been capture before. You decide to rob from the mafia to test your skills. They found out and are after you. You are in hiding and now want vengeance on the MONSTERS who have tainted your happy life hidden in the town of Salem. You are a little rusty, however, so you can only steal one ability per 2 nights.

• You only steal items that may be useful to you.
  
• However, if you decide to steal from the Serial Killer, you will have to face up to him. It ends in a draw, your death, or his death.
  
• You have to use "your" tool the next night, because you know that you will no longer need it and return it. They will notice if you have taken it or returned it, so watch for that.

You win with Town
You win with Serial Killer
You win with Arsonist
You win with Witch
You may spare everyone else.
(Basically everyone except mafia)

Charmer

Your beauty and grace has made you the sight of the town. The town also enjoys watching you making simple good luck charms. They know of your magic, but you are simply too nice and beautiful to kill. When people start to die, you wanna hide where nobody can see you. You don't want any contact with the world, you just want to survive. The thought of being stabbed or burning alive scares the wits out of you. That witch must go too because they drain you of your magic when they control you. You are determined to use your deadly charms of both magic and beauty to rid the town of these demons. The vampire scare the daylights out of you since you are afraid of them since you were a little kid.

• Your magic has the ability to make a shield of light to protect you from the person you think is a neutral killing/evil. (You pick a target and become immune to their effects. You cannot use this skill at the same time as the other skill.)
  
• You can also make them target the neutral killing/evil you are trying to avoid. However, you are too scared to find who that person is, so don't know who that monster is.
  
• If you lose control over your power for a second(if you are distracted or controlled, you will uncontrollably make the distraction go somewhere else, draining you of your magic and turning you into a Jester.

You need to kill Serial Killer
You need to kill Arsonist
You need to kill Witch
You need to kill Vampire
You may spare everyone else.
(Basically every witch and neutral killers must fall for you to win)

thank you. I really appreciate that people understand this. I am also glad that nobody has asked why it isn't with town.

(Just so you know, Charmers are usually targeting town to do this, so this isn't exactly helping the town.)

I added witch and might add vampires. All neutral killings will always be her enemy, so any neutral killing/evil must kill her to win. (It might end up having the serial killer attacking themselves multiple times or Arsonist dousing themselves and burn themselves.)

Bump because I think that this would make good roles for Forum Mafia. (My Thief is the True thief, except Orphans, but that doesn't matter. My Thief is also the best one.)

Correct. Custom roles ARE allowed in Forum Mafia in general. We like to experiment with new role ideas. We just prefer not experimenting with brand new roles in the actual Episodes. We also try not to add too many new roles/rules/setups all at the same time. Basically, you can think of Episodes as the official games of Forum Mafia (where winners are awarded as champions), and the games that go down the alphabet are more experimental in nature, if anything.

On that note, we actually haven't discussed Episode IV in a lot of detail yet, but it's mostly because we're busy planning our own freely run games right now.

The person who decided the role list for this game (Episode III Game B) was me, and I generally make all final decisions for that game personally. I've got a bit of a good idea of the things I want to be trying for size in this game already, but in future games I'd like to try experimenting with newer roles, or other kinds of setups. There aren't any assigned mods for this- we just kind of go by the set of rules and roles we want to run for our own games.

So while this won't appear in Game B, I'll give these roles a look for next time, if I don't end up hosting Episode IV (where I have to be more traditional).
