Yeah, as a good rule of thumb always proofread your posts. Not for spelling mistakes, but for anything that you might not actually want to say.

It's a good idea to look at your own posts both from your own perspective and from the perspective of someone else reading it. That way, if you feel like something you are about to say could be misinterpreted or you realize saying that something could jeopardize your goal, you can edit it before you post.
