FM Game 5C [Mafia, Phantom & Jester Win!] "Dot-Code"

Welcome again to another round of Forum Mafia! Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the rules both new and old.

Timeline of Events:

Unique Rules:

Death Notes and Last Wills: Send the moderator a pm with the subject as "Last Will" or "Death Note" respectivily, the contents of the pm will be posted apon the death of you or your target.

Whispers: Each player has 4 whispers with 200 characters each. They may be sent by pming your moderator with the subject including "Whisper" and the intended recipient.

Inactivity: If a player has not posted within the last 36 hours they will be prodded, if you do not respond to the prod within 18 hours you will be replaced. Getting prodded twice will also mean you will be replaced.

Night/Day Actions: Send all actions to your moderator with the subject marked as "Night Action", day actions should also be clearly labeled.

Random Town: Can be of any town alignment, has a 5/20 chance to be a Citizen.

Investigator Pairings (unique):

Your target is heavily protected! They must be a Mayor, Godfather, or Survivor.
Your target owns weapons! They have to be a Veteran, Vigilante, or Mafioso.
Your target visits the graveyard! They must be a Medium, Janitor, or Amnesiac.
Your target manipulates others! They must be an Escort, Consort, or Witch.
Your target watches others closely! They have to be an Investigator, or Consigliere.
Your target takes pride in their work! They have to be a Sheriff, Disguiser or Executioner.
Your target smells like gas! They must be a Transporter, or Arsonist.
Your target has advanced knowledge in the field of science! They have to be a Retributionist, or Bomber
Your target watches over people at night! They must be a Lookout, Bodyguard, or Stalker.
Your target deals with highly sensitive information! They have to be an Spy, or Agent.
Your target has a fondness for knives! They must be a Doctor, or Serial Killer.
Your target wants to die! They must be a Jester, or Phantom.
Your target is a protector! They have to be a Jailor, or Lawyer.
Your target has forged documents! They are a Framer.
Your target abides the laws quietly! They are a Citizen.

Role Changes

Spoiler: 1) Jester can choose to not kill if he is lynched. Why? Because Jester screws with the town.

2) A lynched Phantom during a Ritual will appear as a Jester. Just to make it a bit less obvious.

3) Medium - The Medium can ask any 3 questions to any 3 dead people at any time of the night. The Medium can choose to prepare questions during the day or can ask them once night has begun, or do a combination of both.

Example: The Medium asks a question to dead player a, and one question to dead player b. Then after receiving the answers, the Medium asks a third and final question to player a (or to a dead player c or any other dead player). Note that answers sent after the day begins will not be passed through, so watch the clock!


4) Blackmailer / Agent - while the role may be called Blackmailer, Rick's suggestion of Agent will be used - the Agent / Blackmailer can tap one person and target one person. The Blackmailer / Agent will see any player(s) that his target visits that night and can tap another player to see their sent and recieved whisper for the entire day after.

5) Witch - Immune to one attack. So, the first attack on the Witch will not kill the Witch, but the second attack will (passive immunity for one attack).

6) Stalker - Immune to BodyGuard kills. Still seen by lookout and shot by Veteran. Targets do not know they are being stalked and do not gain night immunity. Roleblocking a Stalker causes the roleblocker to be stalked, but the roleblocker is unaware of this.

7) Phantoms now have 5 rituals instead of 4.

8) The Lawyer may swap the defendant once and issue a forced verdict once.

9) The fuse of a bomber now lasts 2 nights instead of 1. If a target is lynched with an active fuse (between the first and second night), it will ignite.

The Disguiser

Your alignment is Mafia Deception.

You are a once great actor lured into the mafia with the promise of fortune and a chance for a final performance.

Every night you may choose which power role you would like to appear as, this will completely fool even the best investigator. You may also visit someone each night and change their appearence to that of a disguiser, the spy will see who your target visits instead of you. While decieving Investigators, a Sheriff's interogation on the other hand will see through your disguises.

You must kill the Town

Everyone has confirmed their place.

Day 1 begins! Day will end in 24 hours, October 27th 8:00 am [UTC -4].


Slowly, everyone crept out of there homes that day. Awoken from a strange dream filled with constricting ropes and guns firing off. They woke up to a peaceful village, their peaceful village, only to find it tainted. The resident Empath had been murdered, blood layering the closet they were found in, a message pinned to their chest by a kitchen knife.

"We're back, we've been back."
