But the mafia knowing there aren’t any neutrals isn’t the same as town knowing there aren’t any neutrals.
There is not an equivalence here.

Actually there isn’t going to be a situation where either town or mafia knows there is no neutrals.
Mafia can be specifically told there are neutrals though.
It’s pretty obvious no NK, and if there is a neutral it’s going to be some sort of mafia traitor which mafia would likely be told they have a traitor.

Also a Mafia traitor could be lumped into kill mafia if there was one.
