If we put scum into heaven, then we just play it safe every heaven phase and lynch the most agreed town
But that would only happen once, maximum

I'm just much less worried than you are about mislynching Town today if we establish a group of four people that actually has two Mafia in it. Like, Eragon, I trust Chemist completely. I have complete confidence in him that if this is what he's looking at, if we've not screwed up and he's looking at a dead Townie and seeing a remaining either SvSvS or TvSvS, he'll hit. From there, Town's position is winning.

This only doesn't checkmate if by some fucking how, we lynch Mafia today, lynch Mafia tomorrow, Town into Hell, and then Mafia into Heaven. This only happens if we lynch Mafia today, which is bizarre.

If I'm looking at a group of people that has what we think are MAX two Town and one Mafia, I'd be more worried about Heaven lynching the Mafia here, than I am about letting Chemist shooting again into a group that has a MINIMUM two Mafia.

Except then we don't risk loss by Heaven Maj.

The sheer degree of obviousness and the immediate blowback he'd get from it just seems too obvious to me here.

Town are stupid. Town do stupid things. They do stupid things, especially in setups like this, because they don't always know who to trust and end up pitching bad things that end up harming them purely out of just not believing the right person at the time where it mattered most. I relate to this a lot. I pick the wrong fucking person to trust in a conflict literally all the time, simply because I don't know who I'm supposed to listen to, and I'll often decide against the person I should trust to win because they said something that pissed me off.

But when you're Scum, you think about everything you say and do and how it doesn't get you caught or killed. If Mafia!Hyena was trying to convince me to not kill him OR Chemist to not kill him, he wouldn't have gone about it like this unless he truly wanted to go to Hell. If I don't lynch him myself for it, Chemist absolutely would.

I sincerely doubt that Hyena is the one I'd send to do it if I were Mafia here, but then again, keep in mind that I didn't give him that choice, remember?

Let's hypothetically say that trio we keep behind is Phone/fwog/myself, and the group left up there is Hyena/Eragon/Tilted/Multi, and the scum team is Multi/fwog/Hyena. The plan passes. If you're Mafia, what are you hoping for here?

Are you going to bet that we lynch Tilted and Eragon in the first two shots of the game?

What makes a difference subsitiuting fwog and hyena in that scenario?

If you don’t think that me/tilted will be the first two kills, then the two people left in the group of 4 die, and in this hypothetical, if we switch fwog for Hyena, hat leaves

Which still likely ends up with a loss
But it’s a hell of a better shot than fwog/rick/Ph0nene
