It is mechanically a neighbor, but it is named a Mason chat, and the original role was named Mason.

Yee, they could, I told them not to though. Tbf, because of the whole maidswap role, there might be a scum member who is part of it tomorrow, but they could yell about it in the thread tomorrow, so Idc.

Okay let me put it like this.

Wabbit was a role that was called Elderly Maid. This role is a town member, however it can't win the game. It has an ability that let's it swap roles with another player at night(idk if there's limits, but it can swap to non-town)
Wabbit targeted a member of the "Mason" chat, then became the "Mason"(actually a neighbor) Day 1, while the person I'm in contact with became the Maid.
I didn't know about the Elderly Maid before killing Wabbit(who at the time was the Mason).
I then learned about Elderly maid, but didn't connect the dots from Wabbits post.
Eragon start pressuring me to explain, I go back to look over roles and I realize Wabbit was the original Maid.

So yeah?

Because Evan made it a town role. It doesn't really matter though if it was neutral/town except for investigatives. Tbh it might be a neutral and my contact has lied to me, but idc, I'll take their word on it.
