I claimed a while back when I got stumped. I had a bulletproof vest and I'd be informed the amount of town visitors once I was attacked. I could remove my bulletproof vest and become lynch immune for the next day phase and learn the amount of town on my wagon once I was hammered.

Also just analyzing that quote, if qwerty is town then from their POV they should literally know that James is scum because unless they think you are nk and immune there should be literally 0 doubt that James is lying and is scum here but they NEVER push it.
