In Gensokyo as a Youkai, as long as you don't cause trouble, things are usually are calm and peaceful, you could even go up to people whose job is explicitly to kill Youkai will leave you be.
But for some reason or another, Lately they've been acting stranger More bloodthirsty Exterminating anything on site.
To make matter worse Doremy Sweet, Ruler of the Dream Realm, decided to throw everyone into said place that they rule over while also making it unclear who is who for God knows what reason.
The Youkai Exterminators immediately assumed this was the work of the Youkai residing in Gensokyo and are now personally killing every last one.
It's safe to say this is now A World of Nightmares Never Seen Before
