The Commandments
I.This is not an episodic game, so titles will not be rewarded. The winners need not show thou humility, however.


II.Not participating in this game for 36 hours will cause thou shalt be prodded, and if thou continue to do nothing thou shalt be removed from the game. Being marked a second time will result in the same. Participation will largely be considered as game-related content, but it will be at my discretion as well.

III.Despite the nature of this clash, thou must be respectful. Thou shalt not make any intolerant, homophobic, racist, nor sexist remarks. Thou shalt be smitten by my hand, and be removed from the game for breaking this rule. Verbal brawling is a privilege, so do not take this too far.


IV. Acting outside of the boundaries of thou objective is a dire sin. Doing anything of the sort will result in banishment from future games and the immediate replacement of thou slot.


V.Thou shalt not post excessively in the thread. I will tolerate multi-posting, but spamming singular, meaningless posts will result in a stern warning from me. Hiding thou grand posts inside a spoiler will be appreciated by all of thou companions.


VI.Thou arst forbidden to communicate with other players outside the thread(not including mafia chat). The souls of the begone may speak only amongst themselves or with the Catacombs Manager. Breaking this rule will lead to thou banishment in future games.


VII.Thou shalt label all night actions "14F Night Action" and any questions should be sent to me under the title "14F Question".


VIII.As with no outside communication, whispers are barred between players given this is a SP game.


IX. Flavor should not be used in thou arguments, though I will not stop thou if you wish to bring your own destruction. Additionally, thou flavor is not unique to thou. As little sense as this makes, if there are two Investigators(Secretariat of State) there will be two Secretariat of States.

The sun was bright, it's rays illuminating the golden sheen of the city. It was cool out, but not so cold that you'd put on a coat. A nice summer breeze wafted through the air, passing by all and tapping each man on the shoulder, causing them to turn around in search of perfection. The sky had not a single cloud, allowing a radiating blue glow appear from the sky. Vatican City seemed to have been blessed by God today, unsurprisingly. Today was a special day for the faith, the Pope had scheduled a public appearance to make an announcement concerning the spread of Christianity. Pilgrims from all reaches of the globe: America, South America, Europe, Australia, Russia, Canada, China, any country with a Christian had people migrating. The streets were flooded with visitors, each struggling to reach the Vatican itself, trying to get inside for better seats to the Pope's speech.

The crowd was so large, the guards outside were struggling to control the raging, exponentially growing crowd trying to steal into the Vatican. The guards were shouting at everyone to get in a line so they validate people who entered.

“People calm down! If you form an orderly line, we can let you all in. Just please, calm down and we can get people in as quick as possible,” cried the panicked guard, but it only threw more fuel into the fire. The crowd became frenzied and crazed, trying to slip through the guards. Eventually, a group of people slipped through, but the guards couldn’t chase them or there would be a flood of pilgrims trying to access the building.

Inside, the walls were golden. Murals lined the walls, depicting religious scenes. One of them depicted the Armageddon, Jesus commanding the heavenly angels to fight the Antichrist in the battle for the world. The floor was like a chessboard, with alternating tiles of black and white marble. It felt almost empowering to be in that room, as if they were piece of an army ready to tackle the enemy. However, suddenly, a thud came out of nowhere. A shrill scream that pierced the otherwise quiet and calm atmosphere cried “The Pope is dead!” They turned around to see the Pope dead, and trident laced in brimstone and ruby. Suddenly, a gust of wind rushed inside and thunder boomed violently. Officials came rushing down, only to see the Pope dead.

“Who is responsible for this!” someone shouted, and from there it slowly degraded into a petty squabble. Nobody trusted anyone else. Blows we’re being thrown, people were pushing, stabbing, scratching- anything to eliminate the mysterious assailant that had killed the Pope. Suddenly, a mysterious voice boomed “Stop.” Everyone did so, and looked around. Nobody could have made such a deep voice.

“Who are you?” asked a roughed up man, dressed in Vatican attire.

“I am God, and I have one thing to say: the Pope was killed by Demons. Armageddon has begun. I cannot come to Earth myself, so I ask you kill them for me. There are three among you, kill them all and this will all be resolved.” The echo reverberated throughout the Vatican. People stayed dead silent for a good five minutes, eyeing others to see if anything suspicious was up with them.

After a while, the man from before said, “I guess we need to work together, right?”
