town can scum read town.....

scum reading town isn't scummy or bad, it's the motivation/reason for the read and the nature of the push
if someone has poor motivation for doing it, yes, it's bad. But just saying "(name) thinks I'm scum and I'm not, they must be scum!" is a terrible attitude to have.
