Hmmm, just read the OP.
If mirrorer is guaranteed to appear, why not just straight-up replace NE with mirrorer?

Guessing he randed it between the NE/RN slot then whichever one didn't have mirrorer was rolled as normal

Ok but that doesn't change the fact that there will definitely be a mirrorer here and there is an ne slot. I don't get why they weren't combined.

May as well chime in to ask which roles are and aren't unique. I can assume a few are, but someone mentioned double Bombers earlier and just having one seems terrifying enough.

Having an open NE slot is generally more balanced than having an open RN slot, so forcing the Mirrorer to appear in the NE slot makes the game more swingy than randing it between the NE and RN slots.

Not combining them gives us less info on the setup, which is usually desirable from the host's pov.
