DAY POST ONE

It was just a normal day in Salem. The birds were singing, the witches were burning, and Jordarian wanted a sandwich. Yes, all was right with the world.

Jordarian went to the bakery and asked for bread. "Please, mister, I need bread", he pleaded. The baker sent him away, breadless.

Jordarian went to the butcher and asked for sliced ham. "Please, mister, I need ham", he pleaded. The bitcher sent him away, hamless.

Jordarian, knowing full well that the third time is the charm, went to the merchant guild's. Knowing pleading would get him nowhere he took it upon himself to get sandwich supplies. He snuck into the kitchen, and left with a real beauty. Thick sliced ham made from AAA grade pig meat, atop two slices of freshly baked rye bread -- still warm from the oven. A dollop of home-made mayonnaise, and a bit of mustard. To finish this marvelous sandwich he walked to the garden and began getting a head of lettuce out of the ground. It was in this moment that Jordarian was found, wrist deep in the garden-bed, a sheepish look on his face.

The merchents took him and beat him, and gave him off to the police. The police beat him and gave him off to jail.

Jordarian stayed in that jail for a long 20 years, every night remember that sandwich he never could, never would have. Alas, he died in that cell, sandwichless. Ironic,
he could kill vampires with garlic, but he couldnt use it to save himself.

Gent, on the scene of the crime, looked at the police officers. In one of their cars, ready to be shipped over to evidence, was THE sandwich. It looked so... perfect. He knew he needed it, to taste the smooth swiss, the crunchy lettuce, the juicy tomatoes. He knew he needed it. He broke into the police car and took off with the sandwich, a thief in the night.

He took one big bite and felt bliss. This was the best day of his life. Little did he know, he just ingested poison and he would die by the day's end unless he received second to most votes in the next day phase.
