This is a game. Please treat it as such and remember to enjoy playing, even though official titles will not be given out. In addition, the rules found here apply.
Respect. Please refrain from rude remarks and personal attacks, as they will be punished. Please contact a moderator if you believe that this rule is not being followed.
Inactivity. Players have every 24 hours to post content relating to this game or else they will be prodded. Prodded players have 12 hours to respond to their prod by posting in the thread or they will be replaced. If a player is prodded a second time they will be replaced.
Prohibited Activities. The following actions are not allowed:
Gamethrowing. All actions must be done in order to complete your win condition. Do not attempt to sabotage either yourself or your faction. This can include "jesting."
Outside Communication. Do not discuss this game outside of this thread unless expressly permitted to.
Codes. Codes and encryptions cannot be used. Signals, however, are allowed.
Spam. Out of courtesy please do not excessively post and spoil any long posts or quotes.
Flavor. As this is a closed, themed game, using flavor to form or justify arguments is strictly prohibited. Do not find out what the consquences are. This includes quoting, screenshotting, or posting anything on your rolecard or from a moderator.
Private Message Formatting. Send all messages to ICECLIMBERS with a PM that has "TFM42" in its title.
Day and Night. Days are 72 hours and nights are 24 hours. During the day players may vote on who to lynch and who to elect. More information on this is included in the Setup Information section.
Owls. Are not what they seem.
Setup Information: Spoiler:Background: This game is themed around Twin Peaks, a television show from the early 1990s that focuses on the mystery behind the murder of Laura Palmer and the dark and often supernatural hidden stories of the town's residents.
A few notes:
The setup is not role madness, but as to how vanilla it is will not be disclosed.
Members of an informed minority may use both their night action and perform a factional kill on the same night phase.
Flavor safeclaims are provided to players not aligned with any majority faction.
If you ask what flips on death, or if this game is bastard, or if the mafia have daychat or not, I will refer you to Rule 9. This game is closed. All needed information can be found in the OP, but may be open to clarification.
Voting: Each day players may vote on a player to lynch. This is done through majority. Players may also choose a player to elect. This is done through plurality, and a player cannot be elected twice consecutively. Although the mechanics of this are hidden, note that nothing harmful to the faction of the player elected will happen, if anything happens at all.
Sample Rolecards: Spoiler:This flavor name does not appear in this game. As a note to scum, this would appear as a listed safeclaim as "Pete (Pete Martell)." This can be clarified if needed.

You are Pete Martell, Twin Peaks Moderator.

You manage the Twin Peaks Sawmill along with Catherine Martell, whom you are unhappily married to. While fishing at a nearby lake one day you discovered the dead body of Laura Palmer.
Each night you may go fishing for player night actions in order to start the next day. You may post vote counts during the day.
You win when all threats to Twin Peaks have been eliminated.
At least one player is guaranteed to receive a Citizen rolecard similar to this one:
