Another idea: Have the TI claim TI and then have TP on them. If there are multiple people say they are TI and one is Lookout then Lookout claims their role and they watch the other TI claim at night while the hidden protective goes on the Lookout

While it's a good idea, we also all seem to suspect an Escort or Consort, and if one link in the chain gives out, everyone on the chain becomes vulnerable... Maybe we should wait until we know more roles.

I'm on phone so can't go into much detail until I get home in about 8 hours, but with your massclaim suggestion and this suggestion you've moved to the top of my scum list. I hope you're just fishing for reactions honestly...

A massclaim will just reveal all priority roles. Mafia would just have to sit back and pick them off one by one until there's just a bunch of citizens left and we're in LyLo basically guessing between citizens. In NFM 25 james2 tried to get people to massclaim, he was godfather.

Your second suggestion is possibly even scummier imo. In the case of a consort the TI is screwed and left useless until we find the consort. The other scenario you sketch I find very hard to understand. You're talking about 3 Ti revealing and then one being lookout. What are the chances for that?

Again, stressing the fact no one should be claiming atm. It's the mafia's role to figure out the important townies and pick them off. We shouldn't be doing half their job for them!

Fair enough, looking at your past games it doesn't seem like you would be the type to make that mistake. The 8 hour gap between the two trains of thought just kind of jumped out at me at first glance as enough time for something to happen behind the scenes.

I'm kind of hoping we hear more from Wildraven. His first post makes me a little afraid he isn't going to put much effort into this game.

I guess what I was intending to say was that you seemed a little concrete in your assumptions... I think what unsettled me more is that you were already pinned with behavior that could be read as scummy. I'm glad you trust me, but I'm going to make the decision not to trust anyone until I can be more certain. (Also, I'm concerned that I might be making myself a target because I am notorious for not shutting up...)

Yeah, I was talking about Olly, and he didn't act like this last game, he was one of the quiet people that asked basic questions, but he did scum slip enough that the escort and Vig went after him night 1, so it could be that since there isn't anyone "leading the charge" so to speak he tried something, but it could have been him rolling scum again and trying to be different, I'd say Slight scum, but we should have more solid evidence before acting on anything.

Well, you're either playing mindgames, or you're making the mafia much wiser about you than they should be. A lot can be told from you not liking your role, but I'm not going to go into that. Either way, not really understanding the #care-attitude here.

Also, I believe everyone has made at least one post with the exception of jUnion44.

What exactly is hypoclaiming and what is PR?
This is my first game and I haven't had a chance to look through other FM games to learn the terminology. (may or may not be my downfall but oh well)
