I think the opposite because their role existence makes sense with Ignis. Metrion + "Parity Cop" make up the "hydra" but they're not a hydra. Of course they have two separate abilities. Metrion is seemingly deathproof, but the existence of his role is dependent on the "Parity Cop." If the "Parity Cop" dies, so will Ignis. If the "Parity Cop" were deathproof, this game would be bastard. However as a "hydra" Metrion can die. In a sense these two (or possibly more) players are interwoven.

I think the use of "hydra" was misused, sure, but I still believe them.

I guess I can see what you mean, but it still makes no sense to me. What even makes us believe that Metrion is actually part of the game? If this is true wouldn't the "Ignis" player be allowed to communicate about the game with Metrion? I just find it hard to believe especially with the way STAA is acting about it. Like you said, I don't have "hard" evidence or proof that they're scum, but they're still the top ones on my list.

Cy also seemed pretty sure that they were a Hydra themselves, and last I remember Cy is a decent player, no?

I might be wrong on this part, but aren't both players suppose to vote for someone by the way? How the hell is Ignis ever going to vote now?
