I think we shouldn't come up with a plan this early. The number of mafia are still high and we have no clue whatsoever.

We also didn't have anyone to trust yet, or reason to trust anyone. No plan is better than a plan everyone follow half-heartedly.

Alright, I'm back. Now, there's really no point clucking around like headless chickens whilst the Mafia drag one of our own to the slaughterhouse. Yet, we currently are. My suggestion is this:

We elect a leader for the day. Everybody declare who, from your reads, you trust most. We'll set a quota of eight votes, or half the Town (no the person cannot vote for themselves) to be elected. If nobody is elected from the first round, we'll remove whoever has the lowest vote count from competition and ask the people who voted for that canditate for their second preference. If we can get it wrapped up within 24 hours, we should have enough time to hold a lynch.

The first nominations seems a little weird, maybe add a reason why you nominating them(even though one of them is me, but need an answer on why)

Not a problem if a Witch gets elected, cause they don't know who Mafia is either. And if a Mafia were to be found to have been elected, that would certainly raise suspicion on those who nominated them. Not to mention that the leader will still have to justify their suspicions. I merely think it would be a good idea if we were to figure out who has the most credibility in the Town and thus avoid the usual "oh, what are you then?" defence and instead force suspicious characters to provide a substantial defence. And at the very least, we'll be getting reads out of people.

As for why I nominated you; you're an experienced player that hasn't done anything thus far that could be considered scummy, Plus you just actively pointed out how Mafia could benefit from my plan, which increases your credibility.

Electing a leader could seriously backfire - it means that there's someone with potentially a lot of info, and gives mafia an easy target (or a few, should the leaders change each day) - there is only 1 TP. It also means that mafia are pretty confident that the person they're attacking won't be protected. If a mafia member were to be elected, though...

Playing as Town

While Mafia can talk strategy during the night, the town needs to use the day phase to discuss and figure out who is and isn't town as well. What can you do, then?
Try to progress discussion in a fashion which will be benefitial to the town, try to look for posts that feel scummy, ask and answer questions other players have made, try to see which intentions a player has behind their posts, be active and post reads regularly. Avoid plays which could benefit scum instead (e.g Hardclaiming for no reason, fakeclaiming), and try your best to think for yourself - it's a common mistake to follow blindly whatever other players have to say.

Alright, sorry for posting twice in a row, but I just don't trust you Damafaud. That's now four posts (the first being on the first page) where you've suggested that Town should delay. I have no problem with you criticizing my ideas, but I have big problem with you suggesting that Town shouldn't even be formulating a plan, despite time being very much on the side of the evils. That seems an incredibly suspicious thing to be doing. Plus, you dismissed my idea AFTER I posted my rebuttal, without adding any further criticisms of it. I don't trust you one bit.

And how is this a good idea at this stage? We should be making reads off peoples posts, not electing a leader that could be evil to lead us. Leaders should be confirmed town (if we have any at all).

If the leader chooses a lynching target and said target was Mafia, how likely is it that the leader is Mafia? However that's not the point now. I have no problem with my being rebuffed. What I do wonder though is why Damafaud is reluctant to do anything today...
