We have a confirmed Witch in the role list, so it's not like we need people to claim witched just so that we know there's a witch- because we already know that. I know sometimes people like to try having NOBODY claim witchrd, because the Witch can claim Witchrd after controlling mafia to seem less suspicious to us, but signal the mafia that they're witch. Also if one mafia is witched, another mafia can claim Witchrd to signal the Witch that they're both mafia. I don't really care which strategy we use, because so far I haven't had great success either way. They both have pros and cons, but just wanted to point out that there may be reasons for us to agree to not claim.

Although this also depends if mafia have day chat or just night chat. Rock, does mafia have day chat in this game?

If mafia have day chat, I'm perfectly fine with us all not claiming witched. I think with mafia day chat, scum has more to gain from witched claims than Town does, unless Town happens to have a Lookout, and even then the lookout would have to have watched someone who was controlled.
