I think it's been a given for the whole time I've been playing FM. Unless if I was confirmed town in some, but few times, I don't expect to change very much no matter how hard I try to actively be more pro-Town. It's really hard when you give out reads when almost 90% of the time my reads are incomprehensible, and when I answer questions it makes me look like scum when in reality I'm just playing confused/shocked. I pretty much felt the same way about this game. I try to laugh off my mistakes, but they seem to make the game less fun, so I'm very inclined to never again play FM. But, if the opportunity arises, I'll be back, just not so quickly.

In order words, what you might perceive as an attempt to change, might actually not be changing at all.
