Game Rules

1) Be respectful. This should be common sense, but it's worth reminding. There will be NO tolerance on racial/homophobic/sexist remarks, those being punishable with replacement. If posts are becoming a little too heated and insults are being thrown around, I'll give a friendly reminder to stay cool. If a specific user is deliberately trying to be rude towards others, they'll receive an official warning. Persisting said rude behavior after an official warning will get you replaced or worse.

2) Do not gamethrow. This basically means: ALL your actions must have your specific win condition in mind. Attemting to undermine your/others of the same faction's chance to win (shooting a revealed Mayor as vigilante, joining the town as witch against evildoers, etc.) will get you blacklisted from future games. This can include "Jesting".

3) Inactivity. After 36 hours if a player has not posted I will prod them for inactivity. If they do not reply and post within 18 hours they will be replaced. If their posts are judged to be an attempt of prod-dodging, the counter won't reset. If I prod them again, they will be replaced. If you're going to be inactive for a long period, please let me know in advance so I can replace you.

4) No outside communication. All game-related communication between players must be kept between the day thread, night conversation or whispers. You might not talk with dead players if you're alive or vice-versa unless you're a medium using your ability. Dead players may talk amongst themselves, but communication with Mediums might suffer interference. Please refrain from the use of third-party programs such as Skype, other forums, etc. to share any kind of info. Break of this rule will end in blacklisting from future games.

5) Please do not spam. Avoid cluttering the thread. Some players can't be online all the time, and spam makes it harder for them to catch up. Try to use the forum fuctions at your disposal (Quote, Preview, Spoiler) so your thoughts are organized in a single big post instead of multiple small ones. I will spoiler posts as I see fit.

6) Codes: No codes, no encryptions. Signals may be used.

7) Whispers: There are no whispers.

8) Labels:

Last Wills: "Last Will"
Death Notes: "Death Note" (Any role that kills has acess to these)
Night Abilities: "Night Action"

9) Flavour Text: Do not make any assumptions based on the description of a lynch or kill, for example. Like the name says, it's just flavour.

10) Important Links: Be sure to look at ObiWan's Rules for more info, the rolecards I'll be using and the ECO if you don't know how a situation is handled.

11) Titles: This isn't an official episode, but you can bet bragging rights will apply.

Citizen has same odds to roll as any other role.
Vigilante has Jailor guilt (if they shoot a townie, they lose any other remaining shots).
Spy can, once per game, check how many non-town (excluding the Godfather) voted for a lynch.
Agent can, each day, check how many town-aligned power roles voted for the lynch.

Investigation Results:
Spoiler: Your target is in possesion of firearms! They have to be a Veteran, Vigilante, or Mafioso.
Your target often visits the graveyard! They must be a Medium, or Janitor.
Your target distracts others at night! They must be an Escort, or Consort.
Your target has good deductive skills! They have to be an Investigator, or Consigliere.
Your target deals with highly sensitive information! They have to be a Spy, or an Agent.
Your target is very full of themself! They have to be a Sheriff, Disguiser or Executioner.
Your target has a lot of skill in their line of work! They must be a Doctor, Transporter or Arsonist.
Your target has an imposing presence! They must be a Marshal, Prankster, or Bomber.
Your target confronts death each night! They must be a Bodyguard, or Serial Killer.
Your target watches others at night! They must be a Lookout, Blackmailer or Witch.
Your target isn't very noteworthy! They have to be a Citizen, Godfather.
Your target is involved with deception! They are either a Framer, or Jester!

Sheriff Results:
Spoiler: Mafia members (with exception of Godfather) and framed targets: Your target is a member of the mafia!
Serial Killer: Your target is a Serial Killer!
Every other role: Your target is Not Suspicious!

The bell at the City Hall began to beat. You feel an overpowering urge to rush down the stairs into the daylight. A quick check on your watch reveals: 5:00 PM.
You walked outside, greeted by 14 other individuals like yourself who all converged onto the City Hall steps. Ahead of you was an young man. Dead.
Looking up at the sun, it was already far into the west now, turning the sky slowly into a brilliant orange.
The group stood outside for a good 10 minutes, staring at each other. No one said a thing, the wind howling in their hair.
Finally, the person who emerged out of house 14 had the gall to approach the body, and found a note inside the coat, which they read out loud:

"My fellow people, consider this city under siege. I know each of your darkest secrets, and in hope of your continued survival, I leave you complete access to all the compartments inside my City Hall. In hopes that my friends can find ones responsible for this, I grant everyone full access to everything- ONLY provided that the sun is still in the horizon. Once it starts to get dark, the City Hall is off-limits to all, regardless of who you are. Consider anyone an enemy who lurks within its walls in the night where they cannot be seen. There is to be no defense to performing your searches at night. I hope you take this warning very gravely. I'm sorry I can no longer help you, but I am certain you will catch the ones responsible. Farewell."
