Eating Oreos with milk is good unless you try dipping it and the cookie breaks, sinking to the bottom of the cup/glass.

Of all of the possible combinations of Mafia Team, which do you think would be a worst case scenario?

Upon reviewing all possible combinations of mafia, as well as town roles, I would wager a team of Consort, Consigliere, and Mafioso would be effective for the mafia and worst for the town. It seems Disguiser and Framer both hinge upon there being the proper town roles available for their actions to be of most use. If a Sheriff is present for example, the chance of a Framer matching a Sheriff's target seems unlikely early on.

Both Consigliere and Consort on the other hand, would seem more useful from the get-go. I would place Blackmailer just a tier under those two in combination. As for Janitor, a cleaned body and will seems great, but almost certainly the mafia will hit town members in their first nights which wouldn't seem to provide much use early on when wills would be practically nonexistent. The Janitor would also be anchored to the mafia member who kills to be of use, leaving only two separate mafia entities in play rather than three distinct ones in the trio I mentioned earlier.

If someone could please explain to me, when a Mafioso shadows another mafia member to carry out their role, does the shadowed mafia member get to do nothing? Even so, the above combination still seems like a strong one from the beginning either way. I may be completely wrong though, and anything I've said may be incorrect as well. Anyone please free to correct me on any misunderstandings I have so far.

Both the Mafioso and the shadowed member may use the shadowed ability.

So if Mafia had a Consort and Mafioso, the Mafioso could shadow the Consort and both of them could roleblock their own targets.

For roles like Janitor, it doesn't take one of their charges either.

Mafioso works like this.

Let's say in the Mafia there is a Mafioso (duh), Consort, and Janitor like NFM 2.
On any night the Mafioso may "Shadow" the Consort buddy or the Janitor buddy.
Let's say they Shadow the consort. The mafioso chooses who they're going to roleblock.
The consort can choose to roleblock someone as well, or perform the kill. Both are an option depending on the circumstances of the game.

So if the Mafioso shadowed the Consort, they wouldn't be able to do that again for the rest of the night.

I say worst case scenario is Consig, BMer, and Janitor.

Consig: Can figure out people's roles and pass off as an investigator.

Janitor: Cleaning roles makes filling out the role list difficult and can claim to be the role they claimed.

BMer: The TI or someone else giving them trouble is instantly silenced. Probably better used if they have two targets since they can only kill one during the night.

I could definitely put more detail into my answer if I was in a computer and not an outdated phone. Fortunately the only days in which I'm too busy to be online as much is Tuesday. Basically any other day than today I'll have better posts.

Alright, but that is not what we are discussing here.

I think a Consigliere is a must for any mafia powerhouse. A mafia that has information about the town that the town doesn't have is a huge advantage. The second role I would pick would be the Janitor for the same reasons. I considered the Consort, but Consorts the information that Consorts generally act on is the same information that the town generally acts on to counter the Consort. There's no way for the town to counter a clean once it's already happened though.

BUT, if the mafia were to have a Mafioso, a Consort would be more helpful than a Janitor, because there are plenty more opportunities to use two roleblocks in one night than two cleans. The Blackmailer is fine, but it can't collect information as well as the Consigliere can. The only reasons I can think of as to when the Blackmailer might want to message someone anonymously would be when they were contacting the Witch or pretending to be a Spy maybe, which no one would take seriously due to the possibility of a Blackmailer.

Best combinations IMO:

Mafioso + Janitor + Consigliere
Mafioso + Consigiliere + Consort

Yes, I realize this now that I've gone through the role cards again. For starters, BMer doesn't exactly BM people in FM.

My previous post about the worst case Mafia team will change now, but I'm not sure if I'll get to posting it anytime soon.
