Some specifics to this game – MUST READ
1. Be Respectful! This is a big pet-peeve of mine. It’s definitely okay if you disagree with someone/call them out (I encourage it actually) but be respectful about it. Don’t say hateful things because you’re upset. Remember – THIS IS STILL A GAME. Have fun with it and don’t get to uptight or upset. If you find that you aren’t having fun – Take a break and cool off. If I see you disrespecting anyone in one of my games – I will consider removing you from it depending on what you said. (No Racist/Homophobic/Pure Hateful remarks will be tolerated)
2. Deathnotes – Are very much allowed. All you have to do is pm your deathnote to ObiWan and he will use it if you decide to kill someone. He will only use the deathnote of the person that is doing the killing. Example – If the GodFather kills he will use their deathnote…if the Mafioso kills he will use their deathnote.
If you’d like to change your deathnote at anytime, all you have to do is pm him with the change.
Deathnotes can say anything you want – Don’t make them too long please. I won’t regulate strictly – but if there are walls of text I will ask you to change it.
3. Last wills – Are also allowed. Send ObiWan a PM with your Last will and he will post it with you when/if you die.
You can say anything in them – But as I said above, do not make them too long.
4. Whispers – Will be allowed this game. You will be allowed 5 whispers per in game day. All you have to do is send ObiWan a PM and put in the Subject box – /Whisper to X (Whoever you’re whispering) and write to me what you want to say to them.
I will then send your whisper to this person and post “X has whispered to X” in the thread.
RULE on Whispers – You will only be allowed 200 characters (Without spaces) and I will be keeping track. If you go over a bit, it is okay. If you go over a lot I will ask you to change it.
5. Inactivity -
If you haven’t posted within 36 hours you will be prodded for inactivity.
If you do not respond to the prod within 24 hours you will be removed from the game and replaced by someone else.
If you get prodded 3 times, you will get removed from the game.
6. How the game will work – (Stolen from LoF, thanks mate)
-ObiWan will give every player their role and role card through a pm before the game starts, and your role will be decided through a RNG. No complaining if you get a role you don't like. If you do not receive a role card please PM me ASAP.
-Each role in the game is the same as their in-game counterpart.
-Every in-game day shall last 5 days(120 hours) unless a majority vote for a lynch is decided. For a vote to be counted, you have to say /vote {playername} (Bold it please!)
-If 5 days pass, somebody is lynched, or a majority votes for a NoLynch (done by saying "/vote NoLynch"), the day will pass and nighttime begins.
-Night lasts 2 days (48 hours). The Mafia will use those hours to talk and discuss strategy/who to kill and whatnot.
7. IMPORTANT FOR MAFIA – This game we will be using a separate forum for mafia chat. There is many reasons for this. The moderators can keep track of what you say and also our other moderators can also play! We will send you all the information on how to register for the separate forum. DO NOT give out the forum to any other player please. That will count as cheating. ObiWan will give you the link to the thread when he hands you your role card. Please register as soon as possible!
-You use your role's power by sending ObiWan a PM explaining what you can do. Example - If you're a Witch send ObiWan a PM saying - /Control X player to X...etc. If you're a GF, talking with your teammates beforehand is advised, but not required. Only your vote decides who dies.
-At the end of the night, ObiWan will pm everybody saying what happened that night if they did anything, and then the day phase will begin again. Rinse and repeat until one side wins.
-The game shall begin with a short daytime (24 hours) to talk without any lynching, followed by nighttime.
8. Dead players ARE allowed to PM each other when dead. I think it is fair since you can do it in the game TOS. The only thing you cannot do is PM a dead player when alive (unless you are the medium). Or vice versa.
9. I am allowing killing roles to add a death passage if they so wish. I will only reveal if it is mine or theirs if they want me to. I will, however write down how many I've written myself if the killing role doesn't want people to know
10. If there is a Medium and he/she decides to contact you, you may ONLY talk about what happened to you and NO ONE else. (You may talk about investigations and such, as long as you made them or if someone whispered to you before you died)
Example - Metrion cannot say - "Boomlay was attacked by So and So because he told me."
Therefore the Medium cannot ask questions to Metrion like - "Was Boomlay attacked by X?"
-This will be the catch to talking with your fellow dead players.
-If they are brought back by a Retributionist they may say whatever they want.
