Metrion, your posts look to me as obvious traps for someone to hook on so you can accuse them later. I do not like that. I do not see any other reason for you to say they might get Day-Vigged, unless you would be one, but I doubt that (would be just really stupid). My wild guess is you are bluffing about Day-Vig, but than why even do so? Do you want possible Survivors to turn against us?

As to the roles, a name can be interpreted a thousand different ways. Example:

Zombie
You are a Zombie.
Your alignment is Town Protective.
Once a day, you may choose to choose someone's house to rampage at for the night. When someone's house if being rampaged at, they will shutter their home up and refuse to go outside, and all killing roles will be repelled by your presence.

Zombie
You are a Zombie.
Your alignment is Neutral Evil.
Every night, you may choose to eat someone's brain. When someone's brain is eaten, they will not be able to use their night ability until a different role visits them for the night.

Zombie
You are a Zombie.
Your alignment is Mafia Deception.
Every night, you may visit two people and swap their brains. Their night actions will be swapped for the night, but they will still share the same target they originally chose. If they do not have a night action, they will self visit.

Now, this isn't meant to offend Leyva, but it's an example of how a role can be for any alignment, depending on how Metrion twists the lore. For all we know, a Witch in this game could make healing potions, or poison them, or just be a normal Witch. There's no way to deduce anything from the names of the costumes.

Well, I'd probably start asking them questions, push them for most of their opinions about current happenings. If something wouldn't correlate, I'd not belive them. If they would not answer, I'd be tending to classify them as so. If an Exe claim pops up, they'd be my Policy Lynch for today since they are Neutral Evil.

Costumes absolutely mean something, mine is 100% related to my role. Just not in the way you would expect. I had assumed that costumed and roles would be 100% unrelated so that it could not be used as proof (as in that a standard role list would be rolled and assigned to players regardless of costume), but I was wrong. Ugh.

Costumes absolutely mean something, mine is 100% related to my role. Just not in the way you would expect. I had assumed that costumed and roles would be 100% unrelated so that it could not be used as proof (as in that a standard role list would be rolled and assigned to players regardless of costume), but I was wrong. Well obviously at least some of them are going to be related, but you pretty much pointed out the problem in that second sentence. We have no way of knowing how Invenio handled the role and costume relations. We should put our efforts into scumhunting instead of trying to work out exactly what role "Pirate" or "Banana Suit" is.

I do want to frighten the neutrals, that's my goal. I don't want them to claim, I'm giving the real friendly neutrals some advice basically, and shutting down any scum that wish to use neutrals as an out. I don't want focus to be on neutrals in Day 2, I want it to be on players who we think are scum but are actively trying to appear town, and if someone so happens to reveal as Neutral, then we have an easy lynch in our pockets so we can continue discussion else where.

The "Ah.", "Well", and "still" indicate that Dizzy is revising his opinions at this point after learning that a dayvig role has been used before. From this we can assume that he didn't know of this when he asked the question, and that he was therefore questioning the legitimacy of the role.

About the second part, I guess he technically does answer the question, but he can't exactly do so fairly. Dizzy didn't so much answer your question "why would you question the existence of a dayvig when it is a town role?" (or something along those lines), as he answered the question "why did you ask me why I thought a dayvig existed?". I accept that in this case there's a blurrable line there between a rhetorical question and a loaded question (with a loaded question being more answerable but requiring admitting to things, while a rhetorical question is too absurdly loaded to be answerable), but it doesn't really change the fact that it's manipulative.

That isn't the answer I am looking for. You are only saying that we will policy lynch Neutral claimers, but I want to know what all will you do with them.
If you are going to policy lynch them without even caring who they are, well good luck, because that's what would we need. Would you even attempt to ask them? Or you would just say "lynch him".

That looks reasonable, but may really backfire. The power of psychological pressure is very big, and that may have been enough to cause a disaster if Kingmaker happens.
I'd disagree with someone revealing as a Neutral being easy lynch. They may have been a Survivor trying to hide all along everyone but forced to reveal, or a Jester that claims Phantom in order to be lynched.
