It's not. During the moment it may seem pointless, but K1ll is doing this for a reason. If someone does this and they are mafia we get some info. Gathering Everyone's reactions and thoughts is critical to success.
This is why reads are so important. If everyone does reads, we can analyze scum reads and find more scum from there.

We lymch mafia day d2, at the beginning of D2, there was a clean, so we know there's a janitor. We look at his list, and it says Consig and framer.

We cross both those roles out because his meta was to lie, and we gain more information as well as looking at others who put the same answer.

Bomber isn't much of a threat unless the bomb goes off. Getting rid of the Serial Killer eliminates a kill every night, but the Arsonist might creep up unexpectedly on us. They'll probably be trying to whittle down both Town and Mafia this game, since none of them can directly kill the others.
