I want a mass role claim, I think it would narrow our choices down and really put off the mafia as they can't discuss what role they are going to claim.

Besides, Agent can also bug at night and view letters delivered along with author. So a revealed mayor could be bugged every phase and gain stupid amounts of information.

The thing we have to remember there is...
Peko (who has a high chance of being here) will attack the mayor at any cost, as their win condition does not rely on living.
Not saying its a bad idea, but if we can confirm someone else, that could be a viable tactic.

Also no, roleclaiming wouldnt change a thing. 10 v 5 Vs neutrals. Say theres a vigilante, and everythings ok already. Say 3 or 2 of neutrals are harmless, and we would be OK. We could manage to annihilate all the despair speedy. We still risk jester doe.

I strongly disagree, sure we have a lack of a lynch but I don't think that outways letting the mafia confer what their roles claims are with each other.
Another solution, everyone makes a code (using a website is against the fm rules) that corresponds to their role. Everyone says their code in chat when they claim they can't go back on it they have to make a claim and stick to it on day 1.

Ehehehehe ronit. The executioner equivalent and their assistant(if they exist) will be scouring the code for their targets and could result in a townie dying. Not ideal.

Also, I should say, if someone is smart enough, they could design a code that changes based on what role they want to claim.

Despair is gonna have a tough time with claiming, with the roles being unique. Town really has a huge advantage. Let's not waste it.

Agent can only tap during the Investigation phase, not the class trial, so no matter what the agent does, they cannot reliably tap the mayor. #balancingoversight
