In all honesty: the reason I'm voting downie over ronit is because ronit/gir actually gave a somewhat feasible, albeit weak, explanation for their batch of scummy posts, instead of just constantly barraging deleter with nonsensical accusations all the while refusing to justify themselves.

It was a long day, though it flew by in a blur as many of the townsmembers seemed to lose their memory. Fingers were pointed every which way, until the town had a few partnerships they all could agree were suspect. Both in the given partnership would be guilty, they knew, as no one did anything without their partner, and so they finally chose one to walk up to the stand. TheNinja476 and datdownie fought back every step of the way, hoping to get someone else up in their place, but to no avail; the nooses were around their necks and their last rights were read. The pair looked at one another and collectively sighed; at least it was over now and they wouldn't have to fight any longer. They nodded to each other once and Swordsworth and Deleter each pulled a lever, sure of the town's decision.

The pair had been out late, risking the night for a nice dinner out. They didn't notice the time and had to quickly make their way back to their home, at an hour when no one else was around. As a result, they did not go unnoticed by two figures in the dark. They had been waiting, watching for the perfect targets to stumble by. They took a chance, lunging into the darkness and silencing their targets before they could cry out.

Another pair had been out late in a different area of Salem. The pair moved quickly, stealing glances over their shoulders, believing themselves to be followed. They weren't really surprised then, when a pair revealed themselves as they made a wrong turn, an old shortcut now a dead end. They backed away from their assailants, but it didn't matter. Twin shots rang out as the pair crumpled, the shooters fleeing the scene.
