Arckas, doesn't Met have those in the OP already?

Anyway, what does everyone think about assigning targets to certain roles?

Kinda wish we have the whispers to do it but oh well.
Anyway, I'm not against it. It'd be easy to weed out alignments depending on night results and obedience. But what about those that don't have night actions ? I kinda wanna get confirmed asap. q.q

Does the SK kill roleblockers in this game?

Assigning certain targets just gives a giant signpost to the Mafia and SK who to avoid. In addition, 2 out of 3 members of the mafia can use their ability at night(and differing ones, at that). All the mafia has to do is juggle who uses their ability, and say they did. Serial Killer can do both. So for assigning targets, how do you propose to catch people?

Whoops. Should probably scroll up the list next time. Whatever though.

As for roles that can be assigned, lets just starts with elimination.

IAmAMunchlax (Josh Marshton)
    Can't do role at night
NightHawk (Kirby)
    Can't do role at night
SwordsWorth (Wander)
    Not to discuss since protective
Cortana (Arckas)
Nellyfox (Phonix wright)
    Can't do role at night
RockFire (Link)
    Can't discuss for protective
Stanta07 (Altair)
Neasans (Samus)
    Limited uses, worth discussing
Leyva45 (Snake)
Limited uses, worth discussing however is protective
Nathan Drake (LeScraf)
TheCow (Ryu)
SirCakes (Robin)
    Not good at night
Wafflme3 (Joel)

So- That leaves for discussion

TheCow
Wafflme3
Satnta07
Arckas
LeScraf

Any other person I missed.

Let me know if I missing something

Kirby can do a role at night...it just depends, really. But he can't do anything tonight.

There aren't too many roles where assigning a target is a great idea. Samus and Altair are the only ones where it's straight up advantageous to have assigned targets. I do think that Altair should definitely be assigned night targets though.

Right now though, I don't think it's optimal play to talk about who the Protectives should protect, because that just results in other players being targetted. If somewhere down the line we decide we can't trust someone who's protective, assigning a target to prevent that player from being nightkilled would be an alright idea, though.

We should not give a target to waffleme, he is also essentially a protective.

Or we can repurpose him into an investigative.

At this point in the game, I'd recommend doing that instead.

I agree with Arckas, those seem like the optimal roles to assign targets to, however, we need to be careful seeing as how they have limited use on their abilities.

Also, Santa can send 'anonymous messages'(although everyone will know he sent it). He could be a manner of discreetly issuing orders to protectives. But this is only viable if he is confirmed town. Otherwise he could send a fake message to (for example) Nelly and I, then just kill us off.

Morning guys

I'll start by saying, cow those puns were terrible.

I'm fine with being assigned targets. Provided I'm allowed to make my letters as menacing as I want them.

Yeah, assigning Snake a target is a good idea. I think we should probably assign him one of the protective abilities to target, since as it is, we lose majority after one mislynch if there isn't a save at night.

You don't have a night ability, why would you want Snake to target you?

I was referring more towards the majority comment. Guess I should have made that clear.

Nelly is being weird again.

Anyway, if we want to assign Leyva a target then the best choice would be Swords since he survived redirected attacks seeing as how I only delay death. Speaking of which, I'd Archos redirects an attack to Swords, he'll survive that as well, right?

...Oh yeah. You do have two votes, don't you? Well, I guess that's another fail safe in the event that it's 5v5 and you're town. Though, I'd like to avoid that situation in the first place, if possible.

Yeah, having Swords targeted by Leyva seems fine to me.

I don't know if it's ALL redirected attacks, or only attacks I redirect.
