TFM3 | Resolve - Can You Pull The Trigger? | Exe Wins

Resolve - settle or find a solution to (a problem, dispute, or contentious matter).

Or

a firm determination on a course of action.



1) This is not an official game, therefore titles will not be awarded. Bragging right are always in effect however.

2) There are no last wills or death notes.

3) After 12 hours if a player has not posted I will prod them for inactivity. If they do not reply or post within 6 hours they will be replaced. If I prod them again, they will be replaced.

4) There will be no whispers. Mafia will comunicate via quicktopic at any time.

5) I do not tolerate game throwing. You will be blacklisted from future games if you attempt to do this. Refer here for more on that and the general rules. This can include "Jesting".

6) Please don't avidly spam the thread. No one can get a word in edgewise and it becomes a mess if everyone is doing it.

7) Just have fun and be respectful. Do I really need to tell you this?

Special Rules:

Mafia win immediately if their player numbers are equal or higher to all other factions combined.

If the Target is lynched while the Executioner is alive, the game ends and only the Executioner wins.
The Executioner turns into a Jester if their target dies. The game also ends immediately if they are lynched.

The Vigilante only has one shot, but there is no guilt for incorrectly killing a Townie.

The Target is only informed that they are a Citizen.


Day will be 48 hours and night will end immediately, the night actions are sent during the day.

The Town may lynch Day 1.

Hmm, going for a random lynch this early would be stupid, but at the same time we have a good chance of hitting a non-townie.

We are more likely to hit a townie.
There are 5 townies, 2 mafia, and the executioner.
We'd most likely hit a town if we random lynched.
I personally don't want to lynch when we have absolutely nothing; no night results, no anything. Lynching a town would be bad.
I say that we hold off until we have more information.

5:3 isn't a bad chance, but I still said it would be stupid with absolutely no information, which you quoted and said the exact same thing

It is just not a risk that we can take.

We can't afford to accidentally lynch any town AT ALL. If we were to lynch the executioner's target, the exe auto wins. Even if we weren't to hit the exe's target (which is more likely, considering the possibility of hitting the exe's target is 1/8), we would loose a town member, dwindling our numbers by 1. In the bigger FM games, loosing just one town member usually is not that big of a deal. But here, we don't want to lose any townies. Yes, the town cannot control what happens at night, but we can control who gets lynched during the day.

Although, if we were to find any proof of someone being suspicious, I would be happy to lynch: we just need some proof.

By the way, I support not lynching today unless someone starts acting really scummy, in which case I'd still be hesitant as some people are naturally scummy.

The point is that no one's "naturally" scummy, it's either bad town playing or a bad person

Huh, thought the rules specified that we couldn't lynch on the first day. Reading is tech.

Anyways, I agree with everyone else- the odds aren't great, we have no evidence, and a town death would hurt.
