FM 6D - Mafia and Survivor Win! - "Groundhog Day"

As the day wound down and the residents of Salem watched the sun lower itself in the sky, a feeling of dread washed over the town. Tonight would be the first night of the Mafia's return and who knew what else lurked in the streets when the darkness was hiding them. They returned to their homes, some to sleep and others to take action, though whether that action was for or against the town, none could be sure. Only time will tell.

Night 1 Begins! 48 hours remain.
Night 1 will end on March 3rd at 6:30 PM EST (UTC -5) (Yes, a couple of hours late; I have classes.)

He was settling into his house, making tea in the dark of the night. All this mafia business didn't concern him, he thought to himself, preparing to sit and read before getting some sleep. As his eyes flicked over the words on the page before him, a rustling sound could be heard, along with the click as someone let themselves in through the back door. The owner of the house took no notice, engrossed in the novel in their hands as the intruder edged forward, closer and closer. A sudden creak and the book snapped shut, fear entering the eyes of its reader, but it was too late. With a bang, he was shot and left to bleed out, his assailant sneaking out as quickly and silently as they had arrived.

NekoPotato died last night! He was killed by a member of the Mafia!

There was no last will to be found, but a note was left by the murderer:

Elsewhere in the town, another break-in was occurring. Someone with mystical powers was trying to break into a house. They tried both the front and back doors, to no avail, and moved on to the windows of the lower part of the house. The slight rattling sound seemed too quiet for anyone in the house to hear, but they weren't as sneaky as their target was paranoid. All the lights of the house suddenly came on, blinding the potential intruder so that they would never see what killed them.

ReconMaster died last night! He was killed by a Veteran!

No last will was found, but a death note was left with the body:

That wasn't all though. There was one more death in the night, as someone fearless prowled the streets, unafraid of what might find him in the darkness. He should be worried, he knew, but he was braver than that. The eerie silence surrounding him should have been a sign, though, that these were dangerous times and that the Mafia wasn't the only threat to be found. Someone jumped out of the darkness, striking out at him. There was a scuffle as the two fought, but the fight was quickly decided when the knife found the man's chest, killing him.

Metrion died last night! He was killed by a Serial Killer!
