All roles were chosen by Random.org, so there can be no complaining about your role. Blame Random.org, not me.
In our first game, all roles were revealed form the start. This time around, things will become a bit less predictable.
Still, nothing too complicated yet, and they may become even more random for the third episode.

Note:Any role slot with more than 1 possibility(Like Doctor OR Bodyguard) Will also be determined through random.org

note: you will be prodded when I notice you being inactive for an extended period of time(+/-36 hours). If you can't be online for that long or longer, please let me know in advance. You will be removed from the game if you don't respond to a prod within 24 hours, or are prodded 2 times during a single game.

Now, before we begin, let me tell you about what I've changed since episode one.

The first thing you'll notice is the bigger player list. I've diverted from the classic 15-player Mafia offered by Town of Salem, and am now trying 20-player mafia. This is an experiment, so I can't predict how well this will work. I'm hoping this will make it more fun for everybody though!

Another thing that's new is that not all roles are revealed from the start, but instead we got some 50/50 roles. This should make it a bit harder to figure out who is who.

Also, during this game and this game only, players will have the option to whisper! To whisper, send a private message to me during the day phase, stating who you want to whisper to, and what you want to say.
This message will be limited to 140 characters. Also, any player is limited to sending 4 whispers during a day phase. If you've used 4 whispers, you will have to wait for the next day.
If you whisper, I will say so in the game thread. For example: Guzame is whispering to TurdPile
Whispers can take up to 12 hours to be sent, depending on the Game Moderator's schedule.
If a whisper is sent to the game moderator but the day ends before the game moderator reads it, it will still be sent to the recipient. Night will start right afterwards.

If your whisper is over 140 characters long, please clarify that you want to use multiple of your daily whispers at once. You could use all 4 whispers for one message. Allowing you to send one message of 560 characters.

Also included in this game are last wills and deathnotes. As long as you are alive, you may send me a private message giving me a last will or a death note. A death note will be left when you kill somebody. The Last Will will be elft when you die.
Note: this is for fun only. if your last will or deathnote influence the game in any way, I may not allow them.
What is allowed: "well this sucks"
What is not allowed: "X is serial killer. he's immune to attacks at night."
The game Moderator has the final say in what is allowed and what isn't.

Another experiment for this game is the new mafia chat. Instead of using private messages, I will be opening up a quicktopic thread only accessible to mafia players. This chat will be opened during the night, allowing any living mafia member to talk to each other.

Also, for those that missed it, a few rules have been changed since our last game.

First: the activity rules have become stricter. You may now receive a prod after 36 hours of inactivity without letting the game moderator know in advance. If you don't post in the thread(or send me a private message if it's nighttime) within 24 hours of receiving a prod, you will be removed from the game.
if you receive a prod and you are inactive again later in the game, you will be removed.

Second: Don't discuss or mention ongoing games anywhere else on the forum or to other people still alive in the game. This can seriously influence the game, and depending on how severely you break this rule, can get you removed from the game and blacklisted from entering any future games.
This rule is not only for players currently in the game, but for EVERYBODY. Discussing an ongoing mafia game on the forum is not allowed. Breaking this rule can get you warned or removed, depending on the severity of the action.

A quick reminder of our most important rules:

-Post at least every 36 hours, or you will be prodded. You will be removed if you don't post 24 hours after a prod, or if you are prodded twice. If you can't post for that long, please let everybody know by stating so in the thread.

-You're not allowed to edit your post for any reason. if you're discovered to have edited your message, you will receive a warning. If you get a second warning you're removed from the game.

-Don't talk to any of the other players in the game outside of this game thread. The only way to talk to them will be whispering.
If you die, you still can't talk to any of the other players who are still alive. There will be a Dead chat where you can talk to other dead players.

-Also, you're not allowed to discuss this game outside of the game thread. Don't talk about it anywhere else on the forum.

Did you get a sense of feeling like you were playing in the Hunger Games in front of everyone in the forums?

I mean we're playing Mafia in a space where everyone is dying, slowly our numbers dwindle as I'm sure a number of the observers are cheering for one side or another... I think the only thing missing are the sponsorships from spectators.

Also, to guzame that sounds kinda luxurious right about now. Dying for an in-game pizza right now.

To be honest even though I thought people was watching the thread It never came to mind. I just played the game and found it funny when loads of people started talking when the game was over who hadn't even participated.

It's actually pretty weird for me right now. I'm having to remind myself that I can actually post this round, since I'm so used to just watching all of the events unfold.
