[VFM59 - A Spooky Spooky Wild Wild West -- REWIND]


There was only one choice for an intro video.

Rules and Mechanics
-All normal rules
-24/16 prod timers.
-All votes must be bolded.
-Day/Night phase will be 72/24.
-Lynches by majority/plurality.
-Tied wagons at end of day will be randomly decided.
-Mafia have day/night chat through discord.
-Mafia factional kills are mandatory
-Mafia factional kills are not assigned as there is no role which can track, watch, or roleblock.
-There is no functional n0, and as such cops do not have a n0 check.
-The only feedback is Sheriff/Rolecop feedback.
-There are no kill credits or rolecard/role flips.
--- example death feedback is: Ryanyb died, they reveal to be Town
--- or: Varanus died, they reveal to be Mafia.

Win Conditions
Town
Spoiler: You are a member of the town
You win when all members of the mafia have been eliminated.

Mafia
Spoiler: You are a member of the mafia and win when either:
A) nothing can prevent the number of alive town members from eventually reaching 0...
OR B) mafia reaches parity with town and no remaining town members have a day vigilante shot.

Vigilante Mechanics
-The vigilantes may not shoot in the last hour of day.
-The vigilantes may shoot either "Publicly" or "Privately"
-To shoot privately, they may PM me the name of someone they wish to kill.
-To shoot publicly, they may say /shoot [shot-phrase and player]. If they wish the vigilantes may submit a shot-phrase to me before the game starts (or shortly after). They will then replace [shot-phrase and player] with their shot phrase.
-An example shot phrase from video mafia games (given we play in a video call chat room called a Zoom) is "Boom Boom get out the Zoom, Varanus". Something like that. Be creative if you want to.

Flavor:
The flavor of this game is LOOSELY Halloween/Western themed. Some of you have rolecards that are a bit more out there. There's some thread connecting it to halloween/western themes. But as some of you can tell from your rolecards, I really did go all over the place for this stuff.

SO: Don't talk about the flavor of your rolecard. For example, the doctor is some kind of doctor. And no one else has some kind of doctor as flavor. So like, don't talk about your flavor since the bad dudes have some sort of bad flavor, the good dudes mostly don't. You could "theoretically" confirm yourself with flavor, somehow. So seriously, just don't talk about it. I'll be watching like a hawk for people trying to soft confirm themself with flavor claims. The flavor is for shits n' giggles for you when you opened your roelcard and for post-game laughs. I don't care though if the mafia talk about their own flavor FROM THIS RAND in their mafia chat. Just not speculating about others'.

Reminder, please do not discuss the flavor of your rolecard. The flavor in this game is non-standardized and has not been randomly assigned, and thus could be angleshot. Discussing flavor of your rolecard (hinting at it, softing it, etc) or openly speculating / requesting this from other players will be a violation of the angleshooting clause of the FM rules. Saying "Citizen" is fine. Saying "Oh I'm [insert your sub-title here]" would be bad. So don't.
