Using pre-game flavor to form leads sounds like a terrible idea and a recipe for disaster. I think most people that did that just weren't interested enough in the roleplay aspect. They disagree with my town read on our Jailor claim, but that could just be a mistake or suspicion. They haven't contributed much since day 2, the day their targets were put on the back burner. The Flying Pumpkin thing seems like nonsense.

It's not a contradiction. In this case it would be Chemist invoking that it's a bad idea and using it to his advantage by getting some of the low investment role players on everyone's scum list. Because he would be mafia, he would be able to tell how much investment mafia players put into their character creation, and would know how much on average non-mafia members did.

Being part of a informed minority allows him to make these guesses comfortably from a insider/outsider perspective.

I agree that this would not be useful metric for town members. However, as mafia, Roz would know who his mafia members are and who their characters are. With this information he can look at the flavor text they posted. He could then cross reference this with everyone else, those outside the mafia. If he found that there was a disparity of effort between those inside the mafia and those outside of it, he could have tried to use that to his advantage.

But anyway, that's a tinfoil theory anyway.

It's wouldn't be a play for information. it's a play to set up at least one lynching and tip the odds in the Mafia's favor, both by eliminating a town member, sowing confusion into the town with irrelevant information, and by putting pressure on them.

The role name itself is not necessarily standardized in respect to what it is, but as far as mechanics go I would have severe doubts anything like that would show up in a standard.

But here is where I stand.

Roleangling.
This discussion had no basis and did not benefit town, baiting potential PRs to react, not to mention it was not a technique to rely on under any circumstances.

IIOA.
This is massively evident in the ISO. Roz has spent a lot of time in mechanical discussion, at times with questionable topics. The discussion they create doing this is for the most part superficial and or meaningless, but they seem to want to draw people into it, and ultimately it blocks progression.

Lack of scum hunting.
This recurs throughout the ISO. Roz has not committed to reads for the entirety of the second day, instead using other techniques to generate content, or angling town roles to simulate reads. The d2 blankvotes are pretty much the only semblance of scumreads they display, and at points Roz acknowledged that the votes were more positional than anything. Any d1 scumreads are flooded out by the remainder of their "content".

Curious to see whether you guys would agree with or have supplements to this, or how you would consider prioritizing it in reference to Yurkin and Juck specifically.

Basically he's saying that you're buddying up with the mounting opinion against Roz and coming together with that opinion. If I had to guess he's criticizing you for this move because it makes you look scummy.
