Tbh I don't even get what that was all about. I mean, chemist tried to quickhammer himself after my post where I said that I'm ok with just ending this but how does this make me scum lol? There were like 1,5 hours in between our posts

The warlock game royee named was his first scum game ever and he did a lot of the “basic”, “newb-scum” mistakes nearly everyone does when first playing scum. At the beginning of the game he seemed to be focused on “sucking up to people” and “looking townie” a lot more than in his town games.
Stuff like that and activity are one of the easiest things to fix when playing scum and there were people who strongly scum-read him for it so he basically HAD TO be aware of it.

He seemed to do it less and less as the game progressed. If you look at his first and last reactions to pressure (before being outed as scum), he was able to somewhat fix his tone already so I’m not really surprised that there isn’t much of it in here.

The way he responds to pressure still sucks though. There were a lot of players who scum-read him for freezing and OMGUSing people under pressure back then, which isn’t visible by reading his ISO but can be easily seen when partially skipping through the thread.

I’m talking mainly about this and about how he tried to play dumb when I asked him to quote his posts in his ISO that made my read wrong.
If I remember it right, he responded with sth like “I thought you read my ISO”, which felt just like a shitty way to run away from responding to a read he’s unable to respond to.

This is also a really fun post. It really isn’t hard to realize that the stuff about me “panicking” isn’t true.
It felt as if he felt pressured by my posts and wanted to respond but didn’t know how to so he reflected his emotions onto me.
It’s kind of the same thing that a person who’s known for “playing for town-creed” does when they suddenly start scum-reading everyone because of being “lamist” (even when they're not).
I’ve seen scum do that A LOT before, especially those who don’t have a lot of experience.

Even though it looks more "direct", his inability to think under pressure hasn't changed much. He still seems to freeze, but in a “less harmful and noticeable way”.


Lmao, it seems that him flip-flopping with his reads because of his survival rather than logical arguments was sth he tended to do back then as well, btw.

So shortly, if I were to read him based on his posts before voting, tbh there’s a chance that I might have gotten stumped at least for a bit because of how bad his posts were back then… but that's probably it...
He was mostly able to fix the stuff he was aware of (and which was easy to fix), but he still seems to be stuck on the more complex mistakes, like faking his read progression or responding to pressure.

I still feel that my individual read on him is way stronger than the meta read though :/
