VFM 56: Mad 17 | End | Mafia win

Rules:
    All Town of Salem Forums general rules apply.
  1. Prohibited Acts: angelshooting, gamethrowing, spamming, jestering, code-talking.
  2. No outside discussion unless stated by me.
  3. Don't quote or screen-shoot any messages received from me.
  4. Be respectful to others.
  5. Try to have fun. I mean this rolelist is a one big chaos.

Game Rules:
  1. My color is #706A1E, don't use it. I have chosen it for a reason.
  2. Prod times are 24/12. In addition, you must have at least 5 non-memeish posts per day. If you can't stand this you will receive a prod. On your second prod you will be forced to replace out.
  3. All night actions and questions must be done through a private message under the "Mad17" subject. You can also send me it on discord: Roee#0264.
  4. Must have discord in case you roll Mafia.
  5. Voting a player will be done by /vote player. Unvoting will be done by /unvote. Try to write it on a separated line, it will make my work easier.
  6. Flavour is school Day 1 only.

Rolelist:
  • Of the following 18 roles, 1 will randomly be discarded and the other 17 will be assigned at random to one player in the game without regard for the player's alignment. Each role is restricted to using its action only on the nights listed on the chart. The Mafia will be told which role is not present in the game.
  • 4 players will randomly roll mafia regardless to their role, the rest of the players will be town.

You are a Town Watcher | Cycle 1 | Macho

On night 1 only, you may choose to watch a player.
Watching a player will inform you who visited them on night 1.
You can't be protected from kills.

You win when the Mafia is taken down.

You are a Town Watcher | Cycle 2

On night 2 only, you may choose to watch a player.
Watching a player will inform you who visited them on night 2.

You win when the Mafia is taken down.


Alignment Cops:
You are a Town Alignment Cop | Cycle 2 | 1x Ninja

On night 2 only, you must choose to investigate someone.
This, will reveal your target's alignment.
The Ninja modifier will make you unseen to trackers and watchers on the night you choose to use it.
If you don't submit an action, your action will be randomized.

You win when the Mafia is taken down.

You are a Town Alignment Cop | Cycle 3 | 1x Ninja

On night 3 only, you must choose to investigate someone.
This, will reveal your target's alignment.
The Ninja modifier will make you unseen to trackers and watchers on the night you choose to use it.
If you don't submit an action, your action will be randomized.

You win when the Mafia is taken down.

Vigilantes:
You are a Town Vigilante | Cycle 2

On night 2 only, you may choose to kill someone.
Your target will die unless they are protected.

You win when the Mafia is taken down.

You are a Town Vigilante | Cycle 3

On night 3 only, you may choose to kill someone.
Your target will die unless they are protected.

You win when the Mafia is taken down.

Doctors:
You are a Town Doctor | Cycle 1, 3

On nights 1 and 3 only, you may choose to protect someone from death.
You will not know if you successfully protected your target.
You can't protect the same target in a row.
You can't protect yourself.

You win when the Mafia is taken down.

You are a Town Doctor | Cycle 2, 4

On nights 2 and 4 only, you may choose to protect someone from death.
You will not know if you successfully protected your target.
You can't protect the same target in a row.
You can't protect yourself.

You win when the Mafia is taken down.


Trackers:
You are a Town Tracker | Cycle 1, 3 | 1x Strongman

On nights 1 and 3 only, you may choose to follow someone.
You will learn who your target visited that night.
The strongman modifier makes your kill cut through all protections and roleblocks.

You win when the Mafia is taken down.

You are a Town Tracker | Cycle 2, 4 | 1x Strongman

On nights 2 and 4 only, you may choose to follow someone.
You will learn who your target visited that night.
The strongman modifier makes your kill cut through all protections and roleblocks.

You win when the Mafia is taken down.


Jailkeepers:
You are a Town Jailkeeper | Cycle 1, 3

On nights 1 and 3 only, you may choose to jail someone.
This, will protect your target from being killed at night and will also roleblock them.

Role Cop:
You are a Town Role Cop | Cycle 1, 2, 3 | 1x Strongman

On nights 1, 2 and 3 only, you may choose to investigate someone.
You will learn what their role is but not what their alignment is.
The strongman modifier makes your kill cut through all protections and roleblocks.

You win when the Mafia is taken down.


JoATs:
You are a Jack of All Trades(Role Cop, Tracker, Roleblocker) | Cycle 1, 2, 3

On nights 1, 2 and 3 only, you may choose to submit one of your actions on someone.
1x Role Cop - You will learn what their role is but not what their alignment is.
1x Tracker - You will learn who your target visited that night.
1x Roleblocker - You will prevent a player from using their ability.

You win when the Mafia is taken down.

You are a Town Jack of All Trades(Doctor, Jailkeeper, Voyeur) | Cycle 1, 2, 3

On nights 1, 2 and 3 only, you may choose to submit one of your actions on someone.
1x Doctor - You will protect your target from death. However, you will not know if you successfully protected your target.
1x Jailkeeper - You will protect your target from death and will also roleblock them. Roleblocking will prevent a player from using their ability. You will not know if you successfully protected your target.
1x Voyeur - You will know what types of actions were performed on that player. Killing(Factional Kill, Vigilante), Protection(Doctor), Investigative(Alignment Cop, Role Cop, Tracker, Watcher, Voyeur) and Manipulative(Jailkeeper, Roleblocker).

Voyeur:
You are a Town Voyeur | Cycle 1, 2, 3, 4 | 1x Strongman

On nights 1, 2, 3 and 4 only, you may choose to voyeur someone.
You will know what types of actions were performed on that player. Killing(Factional Kill, Vigilante), Protection(Doctor), Investigative(Alignment Cop, Role Cop, Tracker, Watcher, Voyeur) and Manipulative(Jailkeeper, Roleblocker).
The strongman modifier makes your kill cut through all protections and roleblocks.

You win when the Mafia is taken down.


Mechanics:
  1. Role reveals at death are alignment only.
  2. Usage of night actions is optional, but unused actions will be lost.
  3. Majority and Plurality. Majority is in effect starting D2.
  4. Town wins when the Mafia have been eliminated.
  5. Mafia faction win when they achieve Parity.
  6. Votes are automatically locked in at lynch or loss.
  7. Mafia factional kills are optional. From night 5 they must kill someone.
  8. Mafia factional kills are assigned. They can be tracked, watched, or roleblocked.
  9. Mafia have a factional Night Kill.
  10. Mafia members may perform the faction kill in addition to their regular action at the same time.
  11. Mafia may communicate at any time.
  12. Tied votes will result in a player being lynched at random from among the tied players.
  13. No night feedback, except investigative actions(Alignment Cop and Role Cop).(See notes)
  14. Mafia can perform their actions on their teammates.
  15. Nobody can self target.
  16. Any mafia member with the Ninja/Strongman modifier may use them any night they wish.
  17. The modifier is usable only when the roles with the modifiers roll mafia.
  18. Days are 48 hours and nights are 24 hours.
  19. Protective and manipulative abilities cannot be performed on the same target in a row.
  20. No kill credit.


Definitions:
Watcher: Learns who visited the target, but not what actions they did.
Alignment Cop: Learns whether the target is town or mafia, but not their role.
Vigilante: Kills the target.
Doctor: Protects the target from kills on that night only (cannot self-protect).
Tracker: Learns who the target visited, but not what actions they did.
Roleblocker: Prevents the target from using their action on that night only.
Jailkeeper: Performs both a Doctor and Roleblocker action on the target, both protecting and blocking them (cannot self-protect).
Role Cop: Learns the role of the target, but not whether they are town or mafia.
Jack of All Trades: Can use one of their abilities per night without repeats.
Voyeur: Learns what type of actions were performed on the target, but not who did them.
Macho: The player cannot be protected from kills.
Strongman: Kills performed with Strongman cannot be stopped in any way (serves no purpose if the player is town).
Ninja: Night actions performed on the night that Ninja is used are invisible to investigative roles (Trackers, Watchers, and Voyeurs).


Notes:
  • If Jailkeeper and JoAT target each other they will block and protect each other.
  • If Roleblocker and JoAT target each other, they also block each other.
  • If one of the Roleblocker or Jailkeeper is mafia, their kill will be blocked.
  • Roleblocker has priority over Jailkeeper's role blocking.
  • Only Alignment Cop and Role Cop will receive "Your action returns with no feedback." upon being roleblocked.
  • Tracker can catch both actions from the mafia.

You wake up at 7:00 am, wash your teeth, dress up and eat your breakfast afterwards. At 7:45 am you go to the buss station and see your best two friends.
While in buss you and your friends are talking about how excited you are towards the last year at school. When the buss stops, you get off the buss, passing through the school's main gate and heading towards the class, you hear screams and some students panicking. When you enter your class, you see your teacher lying on the class's floor with their head separated from their body.


Day 1 begins!

It will end in 48 hours.
