atoonlinktothepast wrote:Well, now we know what the Neutral Killing is... but there wasn't a Mafia kill? Only a killed Mafia? Hmm...
Oh, and nothing happened to me
Taking into account what people have said, this is what we have:
Investigator Town Investigative Town Protective Town Protective Town Killing Town Support - Transporter? Town Power - Jailor? Random Town - Escort? Random Town Citizen Citizen
Godfather Random Mafia (Janitor) - Fenbach Random Mafia - Consort? Random Mafia
Neutral Benign Neutral Evil Neutral Killing -Serial Killer Random Neutral
Any (Cannot be a Unique role)
Taking that in account without proper witness testimonies due to several being offline, we can deduce either one of the jailed/roleblocked claimers are liars, or one of the offline players is hiding something due to not being online.
SwedishLemon wrote:okay that's a good point. But what experienced mafia player doesn't admit to being roleblocked? It does exactly the effect you said above, which is make you look less suspicious.
The main point is my being roleblocked doesn't indicate anything but a possibility. Let's wait for everyone to tell us what happened before we starting pointing fingers.
'Kay. I get suspicious when people call the SK a 'good guy', because usually only the SK says that.
If they were roleblocked, they can't be SK.
Also, by ninja'd, I mean they beat me to the punch by saying what I wasgoing to say first.
LetitiaWilson wrote:Toon, why are you automatically saying the Sk IS the Neutral Killing? As I said, it could be the Random and the Killing is something else. Granted, it's a low chance, but it is still a chance.
As for what happened to me? Absolutely bugger all. :/ It was a very boring night.
We fill in the role list with confirmed roles before we worry about randoms. The serial killer is definitely a neutral killing role and we don't know the other, so we put it in the neutral killing slot. If there's another nk, it doesn't matter which slot is which; if there isn't, then the serial killer being in the Random Neutral slot is misleading. It's the same way we assume the Jailor is the Town Power instead of the Random Town.
Sing something new, I have nothing left, I can't face the dark without you. There's nothing left to lose, the fight never ends, I can't face the dark without you.
Holding the hand that holds me down. I forgive you, forget you, the end.
Janitor down already, nice. A Serial Killer instead of another prolonged NK is troubling but with their choice in targets I don't think we have much to worry about.
I was roleblocked last night, that means we probably have a Consort, since Vale was blocked and Doobledore failed to be Transported.
Obi, what is the chances that their is a Mafioso for each of the random Mafia? How likely is it that Mafia was blocked instead of hitting an immune?
I'm just going to bring this up since no one else seems to be, but shouldn't the neutral evil be our first priority right now? If it's executioner then great, but Witch and Jester need to be eliminated early on to avoid them messing us up in end-game. This may sound morbid, but we have townies to spare regarding the killing roles, while a jester and a witch could seriously mess us up once we formulate a plan further into the game.
I believe there can be more due to the two random towns. And since we have someone claiming to be jailed last night, we can tentatively assume at least one Town Power that is a Jailor.

That is all. Thank you.
Yes, that is morbid, but a fair enough point. Since no-one has claimed to have been witched yet, I'm gonna assume, for now, it's either a Jester or an Exe. And why is it great if it's an Exe? If their target is an important town role, they can cause as much trouble as jester or witch could.

We'll see what we have for the Neutral Evil, I feel like they wont be a problem, and we don't have much of a means to seperate them from other threats today if they are a Witch/Jester.

I've always done that since 2D. The first role that fits the alignment gets placed in the alignment that is not taken up. Italics are for roles yet to be confirmed. For example, I would put names & roles to a citizen as:
Citizen - XYZ -THEN> Town Support (Citizen) - XYZ -THEN> Random Town (Citizen) - XYZ -THEN> Neutral Benign (Amnesiac, Citizen) - XYZ -THEN> Any (Citizen) - XYZ
That is just the system I use to sort the role list out. I could understand if you don't agree with me sorting using this method

Here's another point I'm going to bring up regarding the fact we should be focusing on finding the neutral evil.
One godfather/mafioso, one kill per night. We have a confirmed SK, which means there can be up to two kills a night. If there is indeed a second neutral killing as some seem to suggest, then they are either an SK who managed to kill the exact same target as our current one or a role that takes time to kill. Arsonists can kill every two nights, but it's more wise to rack up multi-kill douses. Therefore, two kills every night and, say, three kills every four nights.
With a stalker, two kills every night until the third night in which it is three kills every night in which we'd have to lynch a scum every day to counteract this balance.
With a bomber, he'd be the top priority. But I doubt it's a bomber.
So, if it's an arsonist as I presume, the neutral evil should be our top priority under our current circumstances. It may be morbid to sacrifice our town to win the game, but the entire game is quite morbid and we still are more likely to win.
Hold off the accusations Lemon. We are well aware of Vale being a possible Godfather but let's forget about the role list, shall we? (Toon ninja'd me but still posting it.)
Spoiler:Investigator Town Investigative Town Protective Town Protective Town Killing Town Support (Transporter according to Doobledore.) Town Power (Jailor according to Doobledore.) Random Town (Can be an Escort or a Consort. ValeforRaine was roleblocked.) Random Town Citizen Citizen
Godfather Janitor (Fenbach) Random Mafia (Can be an Escort or a Consort. Metrion was also roleblocked.) Random Mafia
Neutral Bening (Survivor claimed by EyeoftheTiger) Neutral Evil Neutral Killing (Serial Killer) Random Neutral Any (Cannot be a Unique role)
Random Town can be Town Power. Also, YAY! Me and Vale finally survived Night 1. GREAT! Also, I must get this out of my system.

That is what you get for ignoring me.

Frankly, I don't give a damn about the Neutral Evil. Serial Killer is much more dangerous than them and they can't stop all of us. Jester can join the Town, if they want to. They are welcome. Witch can be tricky but it is tricky for our enemies as well. As long as we don't reveal people with abilities, it is okay. That is what they do the best.

one flaw in this strategy:
do you have ANY idea who the neutral evil might be?
When the sun sets here, there is no light. When it rises, it all shines bright. It feels monotonous. Monochrome. Black and white.
This world is heaven. But also hell. For what does a Swedish Lemon do When trapped in a padded cell?

I hate this touchpad. Mouse for the win! That post consumed lots of time to make. Nothing that I am aware of happened to me last night.

First off, votes must be bolded. Secondly, seriously? You want to throw away 5 days of discussion by voting now? Before we've even heard from everyone? That sounds like a great plan, lynching before we have all the information.
