Just wanna say: if you are town, and you are lynched, it is 100% anti town to not take a shot.

The shot/lack of a shot gives us a flip 100% of the time.

what if you are like 100% guaranteed to kill town

This is never the case in a flipless game but at any rate, even if it was, the information that we did not lynch scum is far more important imho.

While I agree that such tactic would be smart earlygame (especially if used on PLs and shitposters) during late game since one of the end condition is that a certain amount of townies are dead it should only be used if the person has substantial amount of scumread on a given player

I disagree. I think we need a signal on scum being lynched so we have an idea whether or not we should end the game. If we know we've flipped at least 2 scum via lynch we can feel a lot more confident on ending the game postulating that at least one person killed by a townie was scum.
