To be honest dota, and I mean this with no offence intended, as I have respect for you as a player, I think you are a little paranoid, indecisive and gullible at times. I think Flake's acting was good, I don't think it was that convincing however (though I suppose I have some confirmation bias since I was spectating).
And I agree mafia did not deserve that win. If all of the remaining townies during the last day took at least some time to analyze Flake's posting pattern, his tone, his word choice, his focus, his apparent goal and his approach, I'm sure you could have seen through the acting. Multi was on the right track with their gut read, because Flake was (at least to me) screaming "I'm scum". And Olly did not make Flake's case any better, given they basically had the same approach to the game, if anything, that should have been the biggest tell that they were the scum. Especially on a hydra game where hydra heads can usually differ in playstyle/
Flake your posts were sloppy and spewed that you only cared about not getting lynched, not about actually finding who the scum was and getting them lynched. I lost respect for you because on top of that, you decided it'd be great to appeal to emotion by basically insulting anyone that disagreed with you or didn't choose to see your PoV.
If Dota/Betto and/or Multi/Goomba could have seen at least THAT much, you could have quickly figured out that Debil and Seth were town (because they were actually trying to gamesolve) and that Flake and Olly were scum.
Here's a hint: Mafia doesn't care about gamesolving because the game is already solved for them (well, except the PRs, which is why mafia PR hunts).
Another hint: Don't focus so much on meta reads. Any player that is aware of their own meta as any alignment makes meta reading, more often than not, a shot in the dark.
But I decided to thunderdome day 1, so take this post with a grain of salt.
Anyways, that's all I have to say about this game. Good night.
