Do you have any idea how townsided it is for your Mafia teammate to die N1 to the Vet on top of having to worry about 4 other PRs, and then having your only other remaining teammate be a convergent lynch when they are inactive

Yes, I played "badly" in the endgame, I was 100% aware of that, but I was also aware that emotional manipulation was perhaps the best strategy in order to avoid my lynch given the player constituents, of which many I knew would be prone to emotional manipulation. So taking the strategy of being "bad" in this context was effective

Almost everyone not as prone to this emotional manipulation and present enough to do something about it died. Which I was aware of, because I made the kills specifically with that in mind

End of D2 All of you were all outed, my mistake was I didn't check my scumread and rng is something that could be town sided or mafia sided so no town-sided no mafia sided.

Imagine a FM game that
  • was a bastard SFM but it got ran on the standard queue because the host lied to the balance team
  • 1/3 of the people (including the host) roleplaying while the other 2/3 replaced out
  • had more than 20 mod-errors, including the host flipping the wrong role during death and allowing oog communication
  • extreme amount of angleshoots from the players based on those things
  • had so much flavor the mod-team had to get involved

1. Unsticky your thread
2. Flake you were a lot more toxic than you needed to be that last day.

I can agree that Flake was toxic but mod did nothing about it (so I think it wasn't rulebreaking) and if you had a problem with that, you should have tell that to moderator. Also saying "mafia didn't deserve the win" is not gonna change anything. If you were right but you were dead, you were probably killed for a reason.

multi wouldn't have lynched flake anyway so it didn't really matter

I kept saying for the first 24 hours that I wanted Flake dead and everyone else was like "no flake is town"
I should stop second guessing myself smh

To be honest dota, and I mean this with no offence intended, as I have respect for you as a player, I think you are a little paranoid, indecisive and gullible at times. I think Flake's acting was good, I don't think it was that convincing however (though I suppose I have some confirmation bias since I was spectating).

And I agree mafia did not deserve that win. If all of the remaining townies during the last day took at least some time to analyze Flake's posting pattern, his tone, his word choice, his focus, his apparent goal and his approach, I'm sure you could have seen through the acting. Multi was on the right track with their gut read, because Flake was (at least to me) screaming "I'm scum". And Olly did not make Flake's case any better, given they basically had the same approach to the game, if anything, that should have been the biggest tell that they were the scum. Especially on a hydra game where hydra heads can usually differ in playstyle/

Flake your posts were sloppy and spewed that you only cared about not getting lynched, not about actually finding who the scum was and getting them lynched. I lost respect for you because on top of that, you decided it'd be great to appeal to emotion by basically insulting anyone that disagreed with you or didn't choose to see your PoV.

If Dota/Betto and/or Multi/Goomba could have seen at least THAT much, you could have quickly figured out that Debil and Seth were town (because they were actually trying to gamesolve) and that Flake and Olly were scum.

Here's a hint: Mafia doesn't care about gamesolving because the game is already solved for them (well, except the PRs, which is why mafia PR hunts).

Another hint: Don't focus so much on meta reads. Any player that is aware of their own meta as any alignment makes meta reading, more often than not, a shot in the dark.

But I decided to thunderdome day 1, so take this post with a grain of salt.

Anyways, that's all I have to say about this game. Good night.

I know I know
Like on the last day I've pointed out why Flake was bad but I second guessed myself after everyone else disagreed with me

Town doesn't need to prove why they aren't the scum they need to prove why they are town
Also my death should've confirmed flake as scum since anyone else except flake was scum they would kill flake since he was "confirmed town" for white knighting Jamez

hard disagree
as you can see I was hellbent on lynching flake at the start of day and have basically locked you as town

Yes but a Town member was entirely at fault for doing that

How does any Mafia member have any decent clue as to who the Veteran would be from D1 information
