I had a sudden realization that I had wanted to join on my alt but forgot

I would strongly advise you do not attempt to play a game with 2 different accounts as if it is found out at a later point there would likely be harsh punishments from the FM mods.
You can, however, still replace out of 1 account and replace back in with a different one.

Also according to the FM rules you should inform Varanus that your account is in fact an alt.
