VFM55: I Hate Cyclone Mage

All FM and forum rules apply. Don't be an idiot.

Info Tidbits and Rules: you should know all of this, its not hard
1) Awards - Maybe you'll finally hit a decent ranking in Legend.

2) Inactivity - There's a turn timer. Prods happen at the 24 hour mark and you get booted at the 12 hour mark thereafter (24/12). Days are 48 hours so we don't got time to dwindle around. If I see you low-posting or otherwise I'm going to bean you. Little content doesn't count as content. Responding to one comment or two for the day isn't appropriate. I'll be using my own discretion as what counts as prodding. If you're not posting enough content then you're getting beaned.

3) Respect - There's a line. Don't cross it.

4) Communication - Don't talk about the game out of the thread. Don't PM someone outside the thread. Don't PM someone with a different forum account about the game. Don't PM people on discord about the game. Don't post in a different thread in a different sub-forum about the game. This really isn't hard. The only place you can talk about the game is the game thread. Like, cmon guys.

5) Gamethrowing - Don't show your rolecard. Don't throw the game. Don't PM another player the members of the mafia. Once again, cmon guys.

6) Spam - Yea if you're spamming ill bean you but multi-posting is fine if its not spam.

7) Moderator Messages - Don't quote mod messages. Don't even reference mod messages. This means, if you say in the thread "Ryan said x" or "Ryan clarified x", you're getting beaned. If you have something that you would like for me to clarify to everyone, please ask it in the thread (and if I don't see it, ping me on discord, but obviously saying in thread that you're going to or did ping me on discord is discussing mod messages and gets your beaned.)

8) WotM - Exists. If you have questions, DM me, let's not talk in the thread.

9) Flavor - It's Hearthstone cards, specifically cards from the Cyclone Mage deck. Town will be cards within Cyclone Mage, Mafia is Mech Control Warrior, 3p is Aggro Overload Shaman.




Game Information:
  • 19 players -- 14 town, 3 mafia, 2 "mason serial-killers" or in other words, a weaker third party
  • 48/24 -- days are 48 hours and nights are 24
  • Prod timer is 24/12 as mentioned above
  • Lynches decided by both majority and parity. Ties at end of day will be randed.
  • Medic saves only prevent one bullet from killing the target. So if the Protective JOAT doctor saves me but I'm hit by both the mafia and the serial killers, then I still die. Which bullet kills me is determined randomly. Same goes for the Bodyguard and which person they kill. The Jailkeeper protects from all bullets, however.
  • The Mafia JOAT's "Super Medic" prevents all bullets from killing the target.
  • Serial Killers are not night immune.
  • The Serial Killers' kill is flavored as such.
  • All flavor associated with the game will be provided in the OP. So the name of each role and the associated card art will be in the OP.



Setup:
Investigative Cycle Jack of All Trades -[1x Cop, 1x Tracker, 1x Watcher] Actions reset after each is used once.
Protective Cycle Jack of All Trades -[1x Doctor, 1x Jailkeeper, 1x Bodyguard] Actions reset after each is used once.
Killing Jack of All Trades -[1x Vigilante, 1x Gunsmith, 1x Poison]. Note, the Killing JoaT is not a Cycle JoaT, and thus does not reset actions after each one is used.

Non-Consecutive Consort
Mafia Jack of All Trades -[1x Poison, 1x Vigilante, 1x Super Medic] Note, the Mafia JoaT is not a Cycle JoaT, and thus does not reset actions after each one is used.
Mafia Goon

2x Mason Serial killers One is an odd night serial killer, one is an even night serial killer. The serial killers win together. So, if the even SK dies, then the remaining serial killer can only kill on odd nights. Also obviously the correct SK must carry the KP for any given night.

they have 1 less member, no other abilities than killing, will lose 1/2 kpn if one dies.. uhh, okay

give the sks at least 1 shared auto vest or something

also, how does the poison work-

is it delayed
when and can the TP thingies save from it, im assuming JK/BG on the night it is casted and Doc on the night it takes effect

Think of the title of sk as flavor.
It’s a weaker third party. It has fine odds and doesn’t need a vest. It’s 3p it’s supposed to be harder to pull off wins. Get gud this setup used to be even less 3p sided.

Additionally if it wasn’t clear the cop receives results of “town” and “not town”, so the 3p faction can in fact be cop checked and revealed as not town.

Poison like always is delayed by one day. It is announced at day start and kills at end of day.
Neither medic nor BG not blocks poison.

Im assuming this setup had 1 sk before and let me say that adding a 2nd one makes it harder since you need to defend them or lose half of your kp, when with 1 sk u dont have to worry about that stuff.
