General Rules:

• All Site Rules apply.
• Playing agressively =/= being rude. Be respectful please.
• Do not privately communicate with other players about this game unless your role allows it.
• Do not quote any out of game communication regarding this game. This includes your role PM, mod communication and any sort of private conversations related to the game.
• Do not use encryption, hidden text or excessively small text in your posts.
• Do not act against your win condition. That includes FPS and jesting. Breaking that rule might result in the player being WOTMed from all of ejj’s future games regardless of how “good” their intentions were. Just don’t do it.
• Flavor and host shitposting are not alignment indicative, so don’t make arguments based on them you absolute lemon.
• 808080 is ejj’s color, #ae2bd6 is Acidic’s color. Try not to use them, please.
• Pretending to break any rule will be treated as if you broke that rule.
• The hosts’ decisions are final. If we feel like you’re breaking a rule, we will take the appropriate action.
• We reserve the right to add or change any rules on the list if there’s a need for it. You will be notified if this happens.

Deadlines and Activity:

• Day phases last 72h, Nights 24h.
• The day phases might be shortened later, when there are few players remaining. You will be informed if it happens. The post requirements will be decreased accordingly.
• Prods will be given after 24 hours of inactivity. After a prod you will have 24 hours to make a game-related post or you will be replaced.
• Posts with little to no content (aka: prodges) will not be counted towards the prod timer.
• A player who has been prodded twice may be replaced without warning.
• Additionally, every player is required to write at least 10 game progressive posts every in-game day. Longer posts (2+ sentences) will be counted as more.
• Not following that rule will result in either a prod or replacement.
• In order to make sure everyone reads the rules and to satisfy ejj’s curiosity a small experiment will be made. There will be a confirmation phase, which will last till at least 10 players confirm their roles correctly. In order to confirm your role correctly, ignore the fake confirmation requirements the hosts post after the game fills and respond to your role PM by posting 3 smileys. If you’re reading that after being told that you did it wrong, be aware that ejj is staring and screaming at you rn! Yes, you deserve it. No cookies for you! D:<
• We will “poke” any player on request (inform them privately on discord or in a PM that someone would want to talk to them). It’s an anti-prodge measure, common sense applies, do not overuse it or use it for jokes.

Voting and Lynching:

• Both majority and plurality lynches are enabled.
• If there’s a tie the player whose wagon reached the highest number of votes first will be lynched.
• To vote write: /vote [username] in bold.
• No vote manipulation, if the post looks like a vote but doesn’t meet some of the criteria, it’s up to the hosts to decide if it counts or not.
• Votes inside spoilers/quotes will not be counted.

• The mafia have access to a private chat they can use at all times.
• The roleblocker doesn’t give feedback to the people they blocked.
• The Serial Killer has a 1-shot bulletproof vest and a 1-shot roleblocker immunity
• Dietetician is a flavour cop that produces results of Killer / Non killer
• The town cannot no-lynch.
• When a killer(vig/SK/mafia) kills someone, they devour the victim’s body in their lair, resulting in no role/alignment reveal for that kill. The killer who performed the kill learns the role/alignment reveal via their result PM.
• If a killer night-kills another killer, they inspect their target’s lair, learning all role/alignment information their target knew. This will include their target's night-kill target from that same night, if applicable.
• If more than one killer night-kills the same target, they will all learn the target's role/alignment information. They will not learn that their target was killed multiple times.
• If two killers night-kill eachother, and are not in turn night-killed by yet another killer, their role/alignment information, and that of all the victims which alignments they were informed of, is revealed to the town.
• The kill mechanic has no effect on lynches. The role/alignment of the lynchee is always revealed to the town. If a killer is lynched, the role/alignment information of all their victims is also revealed.

The roles the players receive will be flavored with cats. Flavor will be added to the role-cards listed below but besides that, they will remain the same. The scums will receive fake claims for all roles before the game starts.

Role Cards: Spoiler:

Hungry Serial Killer

• You are a Hungry Serial Killer.

Abilities:

• Nightkill: Each night phase, you may perform your nightkill. You will receive back either a PM indicating that the target did not die, or a PM containing their role/alignment information, and if they were a killer, the role/alignment of all of their victims.
• The role/alignment of your night-kill targets is not shared with the town
• One-shot bulletproof vest: The first night you are targeted for a night-kill (even if you're targetted more than once), you will not die. You are not notified that this has occurred.
• One-shot Roleblock Immunity: The first night you are targeted by the Roleblocker, the roleblock on you will fail. You are not notified that this has occurred.

Win condition:

• You win when you are the last player alive or nothing can prevent this from occurring.

Hungry Mafia Goon

• You are a Hungry Mafia Goon, along with your partner, [Player Name].

Abilities:

• Factional communication: At any time in the game, you may talk with your partner here [link].
• Nightkill: Each night phase, one of you or your partner may perform the factional nightkill. You will receive back either a PM indicating that the target did not die, or a PM containing their role/alignment information, and if they were a killer, the role/alignment of all of their victims.
• The role/alignment of your night-kill targets is not shared with the town

Win condition:

• You win when all other killers are dead and you control 50% of the town or nothing can prevent this from occurring.

• You are a Hungry Vigilante.

Abilities:

• Nightkill: Each night phase, you may perform your nightkill. You will receive back either a PM indicating that the target did not die, or a PM containing their role/alignment information, and if they were a killer, the role/alignment of all of their victims.
  The role/alignment of your night-kill targets is not shared with the town

Win condition:

• You win when all threats to the town are eliminated and there is at least one town-aligned player alive.

• You are a Town Dietician.

Abilities:

• Each night phase, you may investigate one player by PM'ing the mod. You will receive results in the form of Killer, Non Killer or No Result.

Win condition:

• You win when all threats to the town are eliminated and there is at least one town-aligned player alive.

Town Roleblocker

• You are a Town Roleblocker.

Abilities:

• Each night you may choose to roleblock a player, which will prevent them from using an action. The only exception to this is if you target the Serial Killer - they will bypass your block the first time this happens.

Win condition:

• You win when all threats to the town are eliminated and there is at least one town-aligned player alive.

According to the statistics on Mafia Scum, the balance should look like that:
Town Win Percentage: 44.44%
Mafia Win Percentage: 22.22%
SK Win Percentage: 22.22%
Mafia/SK Draw Percentage: 11.11%

Which, as for a game with 3p is honestly ok imo.

Insults are... fine as long as it’s clear that they’re not personal. Insult the play, not the player... and stuff
So it would still be ok to say that: “The read he posted is trash”

Lying about having a red check on someone without the intent of lynching them, depending on how it’s done might be ok. In my personal opinion, it should be rarely done or not done at all but as long as the situation is explained and the person makes sure that there’s no lolhammer and the gambit doesn’t stall the game for god knows how long, I wouldn’t like it but it’d still be acceptable.
