Change mafia promotions

Wanting to be something, and not getting it, I would imagine, feels better than not wanting to be something, and being forced to become it though.

basically opt in or out of preffered promotion?

1: yes
2: yes
3: nope

the next one to become mafioso is wither 1 or 2 with each 50% chance?
and 3 is spared from becoming mafioso until he changes his mind of becoming one/last or to be promoted?

Can we have the mafia vote on who is going to be promoted?

Like I mean we keep mafioso and have them vote on who is going to be next mafisoso after the first one dies
