Now that witches have a one time auto-vest and can know the roles of people they control now the vigilante can never win in vigilante mode
solution 1 put witch at the old power (don't know roles and no protection) for this mode only edit: also make all witches win in a witch win or
solution 2 replace this mode with a Vampire mode so people will stop adding Vampires to custom games

When somebody says that they hate Vampires, I get filled with satisfaction. Solution #2 for me please.

That mode should of never been added in the first place. If they wanted any mode it should of been All/Any rapidmode. And that's still a bad idea.

I personally loved the Vigilantics mode before the witch buff. It was a stupid game mode, but some days you just want to hip shoot or make someone kill other people instead of going through the deception and mind game that normal ToS is. Now it's a dead game mode. RIP Vigilantics

Are you still talking about Vigilante mode?

Also, vigis should be able to shoot n1, and all phases should last half as they last now, since day chat is pointless anyway.

Solution #1 is something I've had in mind myself. It could be labeled "Witch (old)"...in fact, having old variants of roles in custom would be nice as well, to make vintage setups usable again. Role (Ranked) variants would also be nice for said purpose.

Solution 2 is better, "Witch (old)" seems really ugly with the brackets

You know you could add more vig’s less witches.

Aesthetics are overrated...but if you don't like that, it could also be named "Vintage Witch".

you should make a thread for you classic mode or Old mode where we can play with the old versions of the roles I'd support your idea of Old mode

Old mode would sit there and never be used. My suggestion would have a fifth category (after Town, Neutral, Mafia, and Coven) called "Vintage", where old versions of roles reside. Could have Vintage Witch, Vintage Disguiser, and Vintage Spy along with perhaps a couple others...and these would never appear outside of custom and special modes like Vigilantics.

how would the invest gather the vintage role as? which is my question

With their results? Old disguisers could be a problem though.

People rarely play the current modes...

Making new modes would make the game die...

Same as the current versions...it's more to give players the option to play custom games with the old (albeit controversial) versions of heavily changed roles that they may wish to use.
