Thanks for your help! I will add names for witches achievements. The jailor achievement seems like a good idea, but the other one just encourages players to random shoot in night 2, which is usually a bad idea (althought I usually shoot scummy players in night 2 :lol: )

Just sth I noticed for Investigators you have "Find 3 evildoers in one game" what do you mean by that? Does that mean you investigate 3 people who happen to turn out evildoers? In the first few roles they all have text written a bit different than others for example nearly all texts have both the requirement and the achievement written in bold like BG, Doc, Jailor, Lookout, Escort have some achievements written in bold some not and almost all other achievements are written in BOLD the achievement requirement and the achievement. I just thought sth I'd mention. Also the Escort achievement "Roleblock a SK while being healed by a Doc" is missing the " - " between and some achievements have " . " in the end of the sentences, some do not. I am just trying to make this thread as high of a quality as possible. Keep up the good work! :)
RNG is never good for any strategy based game. Please learn the definition of what that means, especially if you're one of the people constantly defending it.

The achievement for the investigator requires the player to investigate players with not-town roles. Investigating the same player more than one time shouldn't count.
About the bold thing, it's because at first I put every achievement in bold, but then I noticed that putting everything in bold was easier. How do you think it should be formatted?
About the other mistakess, I'll fix them soon.

I've just edited the post to fix the escort achievement.
About the other problems, what do you think? Should I put everything in bold, or only the conditions? Also, should the conditions end with a point or not?

I feel like the achievements should be more different... too many focus on the town power roles, especially the Ret's ability imo... I will get back to you with some ideas for replacement.

Maf/Coven/Vamps:

Last Man Standing: Win the game while being the only member of your team alive for three nights or more (check starts at start of night)
Knife-edge: Be voted up but innoed two or more times in one game
Bulletproof alibi: Have every living townie vote inno on you

Jailor:

That's MY job: Execute an executioner

Vigilante:

No more magic: Kill a witch before she controls you
Too serious: Kill a jester

Consigliere:

A natural ally: Find a neutral evil role

Lookout:

Things man was not meant to see: Watch a WW rampage, but survive

Arso:
Do you smell gas?: Win a game without igniting (this requires town manipulation skill and a bit of luck, so while its not optimal play, it still rewards skill)


+ keep the "lynch your target twice" achievement for executioner. Achievements should do two things - act as milestones, record interesting situations in the game (while not encouraging bad play). This achievement encourages good play (kinda), AND is an interesting occurrence. Keep it.

Every achievement should be in bold so it could be better to see.
RNG is never good for any strategy based game. Please learn the definition of what that means, especially if you're one of the people constantly defending it.

I had an idea:
What if there were Achievements for trial system?

Here are a few:
Judge: Judge 1 report
Jury: Judge 100 reports
I am not as active as I used to be, although I should be somewhat active.

That's MY job: Execute an executioner I'm not really sure about this one. Jailors already have an achievement for executing an evildoer. And executing an executioner doesn't require much skill. Just wait until they lynch their target and then execute them. However, "execute an executioner before he lynches his target" sounds actually like a good idea.

Vigilante:

No more magic: Kill a witch before she controls you Sounds good.
Too serious: Kill a jester Why not?

Consigliere:

A natural ally: Find a neutral evil role Seems good.

Lookout:

Things man was not meant to see: Watch a WW rampage, but survive I'm also not sure about this one. This would encourage lookouts to risk their lives going on an obvious ww target hoping they will be protected.

Achievements shouldn't encourage people not to use their ability. Not igniting as arso is dumb (I refer to igniting when everyone but one player and you are doused). Also, this achievement would be impossible to get.
You would have to kill the last townie in order to win, so unless there is a kingmaker or another arso, this would not be possible.



+ keep the "lynch your target twice" achievement for executioner. Achievements should do two things - act as milestones, record interesting situations in the game (while not encouraging bad play). This achievement encourages good play (kinda), AND is an interesting occurrence. Keep it. Since everyone is asking for the same, I'll add it again.

Encouraging players to use the trial sistem seems good, but are you sure it's actually connected to the game? I mean, can the game record how many reports did you judge?

Creating more achievements for roles that have the least amount of them and also just giving you multiple options to choose from achievements names (you could always make one up yourself if my names suck). Also I suggest remove Medium's achievement "Vote guilty on 3 evildoers" (I think Mayor has this one too, not sure) and put that achievement to the General Town achievements because every Town member has literally the same objective

General: Win the game and survive (applies to factions with multiple members Town / Mafia / Coven / Vampires) - Winning and surviving. / Still alive. / EZPZ! (all of these kinda suck so feel free to add a name of your own choice)
Bodyguard: Save an Investigator or a Sheriff from death who found a member of the Mafia or a member of the Coven who you didn't counterattack - Thought that would be enough? / Still got you! / 2 in 1 special
Doctor: Successfully heal the Jailor, the unrevealed Mayor or the Retributionist who hasn't used their ability yet - Protect the Lord! / You could thank me for this one. (edginess 100%) / Just doing my job.
Mayor: Hang the Godfather and / or the Coven Leader - No one opposes me. / Tango down.
Medium: Vote guilty on an evildoer and hang them the day after you've had change to speak to one of the Town Investigates that has previously died [(you won't get this achievement if you hang an evildoer while you were jailed or you didn't vote guilty one them) (this one would work with Med better)] - Trusting the dead ones / Dead's leads / (or keep the "Dead's info" what you have currently)
Godfather: Kill the Bodyguard by your own hands (doesn't apply if the Bodyguard counterattacks you) - Who's the dirtier one? / Getting my hands dirty. / Making the hard decisions.

I guess this is enough for now, I'll make some new ones tomorrow maybe (soonTM) :P

I will write something like "lynch an evildoer that was found by a dead townie the night he died". This should also apply to jailors and escorts who died to the sk they visited.

A few achievement suggestions:

Lookout: Watch someone who was visited by a player from the graveyard-Paranormal activity (this triggers from Medium seance, Jester haunt, and Necromancer use of a body)
Mayor: Savior achievement conditions changed to "Vote innocent on a townie who was acquitted by fewer than two votes" (the reasoning here being that they were only acquitted because of Mayor's extra voting power)
Spy: Bug a target who was killed by a Bodyguard-Counter Operations

Vigilante: Shoot an evil role when controlled by Witch/Coven Leader OR shoot an evil role when your target was transported-Happy Accident (this might be a bad achievement since it's entirely out of Vig's control)
Psychic: See the same player in 3 visions-Renamed to Stuck in My Head
Tracker: Watch your target visiting the graveyard-Tomb Robber (replaces "He went to the graveyard!" since I believe that Ret and Amne also register as visiting the graveyard when using their abilities, instead of just Necromancer)
Godfather: Perform a kill yourself while a Mafioso is still alive (loop)-I Want It Done Right
Mafioso: Be controlled by a Witch or Coven Leader when GF has ordered you to kill a target-Capo Control (Capo being Italian for boss, referencing the fact that GF's command would override Witch/CL)
Jester: Haunt a Veteran-Renamed to Now He Feels Bad
Have the graveyard be completely full with you having been lynched-Renamed to Last Laugh
Werewolf: Maul a killing role that visited your target-Food Chain (does not count if you stay at home on full moon night and get attacked, this meant to discourage WW staying home, which is usually a bad play)
Pirate: Plunder a Town Power role after winning-Scurvy Sailor (Town Power defined as Mayor, Jailor, Ret before reviving, and Transporter) (meant to discourage Pirates from siding with Town after they have won)
Medusa: Stone the Jailor-renamed to Jailhouse Rock

Also, this is just an achievement for being controlled.

I think this isn't neccesary for pirates, since they already have many achievements and they are NB (treated as NC), they shouldn't be encouraged to kill town. I guess? If other persons say that this one should be added, I will add it.

Thanks for pointing out some of the problems with my achievement suggestions - the mafia ones especially were geared more towards "interesting situation" than "good play"

I have some suggestions for names/renaming:

BG achievement 2: Got your back
Doc new achievement: It will not die - save the SAME townie three times in one game (this requires idiocy from the evils, but ultimately is a good thing from Doc's perspective - if the evils are going to gamethrow to give him the achievement, they were going to throw the whole game anyway)
Medium achievement 2: Vengeance of the fallen
Medium achievement 3: The unquiet dead
Ret achievement 1: Undying guardian
Ret achievement 3: I was just on a bus (this is meant to be a reference to characters not dead, but absent from a story arc being said to be "on a bus")
Spy achievement 2.... idk if this is possible. Wouldn't this be an LO achievement if anything?
Vig achievement 2: Ideas are bulletproof (reference to V for Vendetta)
Trapper achievement 2: Taking you with me
Consort achievement 5: Mistress
Consort achievement 6: Wants me all to himself
Add Consort achievement: Dominatrix - RB Vig/Jailor who were going to kill a mafia or TIs who were going to find a mafia 4 times in one game
Disguiser replace achievement 1: Highlander - Have a town majority lynch a unique role (Ret must not have used ability) after you died disguised as them
Forger achievement 1: No secrets from the people
Survivor achievement 3: Friend to psychos
Witch achievement 4: (change to "be saved by a TP you controlled onto yourself") - Just as planned

Maybe.... for any role - Get out of my head: Be witched to visit the same target you had chosen to visit that night (I know this is luck based and doesn't really reward anything, but it might be a more workable equivalent of Greatgreat's "Capo Control")


Sorry there's not much here for Coven roles or Coven neutrals - I haven't actually played Coven outside the PTR, so I have no idea as to how it "feels" and have 0 experience with most of the roles.
