Wow people. Offensive much? 10% of the population is non-straight/cisgender.

It doesn't seem like it would be that hard to add a way to select your pronouns, even if it is just he/him, she/her and they/their. Honestly, I dislike most of the default skins, and of the purchased skins, all the ones I like are male. I'm female, and hate having people call me 'him.' It would be easy enough to satisfy all the female and genderqueer users who don't like almost always being 'him,' and it seems like it should be implemented.

And to the people who say 'it doesn't matter because it isn't you,' your avatar does represent you. It is not an entirely separate person. If you want it to be separate, sure, it can be separate from you, but if you want it to be you, then it's you.

As a Genderfluid Pansexual all i can say is that i dont agree with you and many of my friends who are similar to what you describe dont agree either. I prefer nonbinary pronous as well and all i can say is that its not a big deal.

You lose any credibility you had when you make up stuff. 96.2% of the population is cis-straight according to UCLA School of Law. So you've now come to a new point. You can make a new case with you shattered argument or you can continue on your current path and go down like the Titanic.

EDIT: As I believe where the information comes from is very important, and I can't seem to find the source of my orginal numbers, I will provide a different source. This one however has the LGBT population of the United States at 3.5%. If I was to include the rest of the world it would only diminish your case even more.

I personally wouldnt consider 3.5 a "decent percentage". More people identify with the Confederate States of America than that. Should the majority always have to change itself for the small minority for something so minor as a few non-offensive words? And I think The Titanic was a great simile. Because I said "The Titanic" not "A person on The Titanic", so swing and a miss.

I'm going to looks the trolling on the side thats with the suggestion taking place and try to talk more about the suggestion.

As I said before, this is a role playing game. The game is descriptive of the character the player is using, not the player themselves. This makes more sense for the game to do that. Imagine using a male character and having the text be using a female pronoun- that makes less sense. If the developers take the time to add a character that is 'gender fluid', then more power to them, but thats whats being asked.

Really a failure of the English language more than anything... "he" is generally used as just a generic if the gender is unknown. Change it to "they" and the grammar nazis will be after you.
