and problem with mayor + spy + jailor is you don't need to confirm at all. your investigation says its mayor + spy + jailor then you know its town 100% so no need to ask for proof for those role. and bad guys lose a chance to know about these roles.
braboobssiere wrote:^ its fine, at least pair it with 2 roles list (like veteran/werewolf/mayor or escort/consort/jailor. at least bad guys will know whose the mayor/jailor probably is)
EdmundMcGaben wrote:Useless. Evil roles wont claim that roles anyways. No sane werewolf would claim mayor, or a consort would claim Jailor. That role pair is there because all that roles can easily prove themselfs. No need to pair them with other roles and it also helps these power roles stay under radar which most players prefer. The Mayor/GF was not only hated because it was unfair to GF, it was also hated due to making mayors reveal earlier and making their plan fail.

umm, did you even read what i wrote? my point is NOT to let those bad guys can claim these roles, but to make these roles proof themself then bad guys can target them (or remember it as possible of important town) when invest ask. to get rid a situation of 100% confirmed townies from invest's result and no, i didn't prefer these roles to stay under radar with no risk from invest result.
braboobssiere wrote:i dont think so. if in invest's will have 3 of Mayor/Jailor/spy and all are different persons then its +3 vote for town since its 100% townies.
but if there's a bad guy mixed up in the result somewhere (and if those power role didn't revealed themself yet) at least he have to proof himself or town will remember him as a possible bad guy too.
ps. please don't take my example for real. it just an example that i tell you it shouldn't be 100% townies or 100% bad guys in any results.

AssassinOfDoom wrote:I have a wording suggestion about the Arsonist,Lookout,Blackmailer category.
Theoretically, the Blackmailer wasn't designed to use his night ability every single night, only when it's needed, unlike other roles. So Frequenting other people's houses is a little bit mediocre. Maybe try changing it to Your target is very stealthy, as Arsonists IRL are stealthy and nobody can even see who doused them, and dousing takes more time than simply stabbing someone, the Lookout is never noticed, and the Blackmailer has to remain hidden or else he is exposed. Besides, Killing roles would want to kill the Blackmailer so their secret is erased or people would BM the blackmailer in turn to get even.
Edit: Should we try to spread word of this list? 77 more people remaining seems like a lot.

Doctor, Serial Killer, Vampire - Your target is covered in blood. They must be a Doctor, Serial Killer, or Vampire.
Kept this the same, but added Vampire. Until Vampire is added, "works with knives" is fine.
Arsonist, Lookout, Blackmailer - Your target is very stealthy. They must be an Arsonist, Lookout, or Blackmailer.
The best way I could find to give arsonists some form of protection (Lookout) that's not Bodyguard (using BG for WW). Also buffs Blackmailer substantially.
Disguiser, Bodyguard, Werewolf - Your target may not be what they seem. They must be a Disguiser, Bodyguard, or Werewolf.
This makes it a lot harder to just lynch a WW, as the threat of killing your BG should make people think.
Sheriff, Godfather, Executioner - Your target wants to gain others' trust. They must be a Sheriff, Godfather, or Executioner.
Way better for the Godfather, not much of a debuff for the Sheriff or Exe.

LOL ARE YOU SERIOUS?
Doctor Vampire SK = K, go ahead and risk your protective (and all your upcoming confirmed towns )
Arson Lookout BMer = People fail to realize lookout is a strong role. Meh, their fault.
Disguiser Bodyguard Werewolf = K, go ahead and risk your protective and your chance to get rid of one killer
Godfather Sheriff Executioner = At least fine than the last one.

If you want to make a better list, go ahead, but right now this is the best option(until someone else does it better).
