They should also add a southern cross icon so the aussies dont feel left out.
My vegan friend would also appreciate a PETA icon so they dont feel excluded.
Im a big fan of whales so they should add a Sea Shepherd icon to spread awareness of the plight of these majestic creatures.
My christain brothers and sisters would also love to see a christian icon, like a cross or a madonna or rosary beads, so we can identify ourselves within the community.
On 2nd thoughts, it would probably just be easier to exclude everyone, than to include everyone because if 1 minority group gets a way to identify themselves and every other minority group gets ignored, you are probly gonna end up with a bunch of offended minority groups and only 1 happy minority group....which is fine if your targeting 1 minority group, but if they want to be more inclusive, they should be targeting all minority groups OR they could just treat everyone equally and not bother doing anything at all.

It was just one Idea of a group.
Also as a vegan and Australian neither of them I'd ever want. Thanks.
But we should have some more cosmetic things

Why though ?

I have no idea what you're talking about either. Kingpin and Wolf aren't even ToS roles.
Can you maybe post an image of whatever it is you're referring to?

Kingpin is GF icon. They have names.
Kirize12 wrote:False equivalency. Chat is needed to play the game. We don't need lobby icons.
Kirize12 wrote:I'm not sure why they would feel different, except that lobby icons are in the lobby and skins are in the game. Nobody remembers the lobby, everybody remembers the game. What better icon to set that precedent than the pride flag? I'm sure LGBTQ+ people aren't gonna die if a pride lobby icon isn't added to the game, but it's about representation. If everyone thinks like ToS LGTBQ+ characters won't have as much video game rep.
Kirize12 wrote:I literally cannot imagine what you're saying. None of the lobby icons have generic backgrounds. Confusion.

the title literally says lobby icons

I didn't say it was better than anything else that could be added, I said "this is so easy to implement that we could literally just throw it into the next patch". Red line. orange line. yellow line. green line. blue line. purple line. wow, that was difficult.

I don't think we're misunderstanding each other at all. You're in favor of a run of the mill feels-good-but-does-nothing PR piece. People like you pushing things like this in environments where they don't belong is the reason there's so much pushback these days. I know you don't see it that way with those shades you have on, but that's what this is. You're at the point where you're calling the American flag an alt-right symbol. I don't think you're going to persuade anyone not already die-hard within your cultural lines to see pride flag icons in a text-based social deduction game completely disconnected from such as valuable.
Now, I wasn't so harsh with the OP because it seemed the pride point was a sideline, and I don't think a touch-up on old icons would be a bad idea if it were to come with something else, maybe a touch-up on skins in general or something. But I'm being harsh with you because you seem adamant in planting this sludge where it doesn't belong.
If you want to be taken seriously, you need to answer two questions, clearly and plainly:
- Why should BMG implement a pride flag icon? And don't cop-out with some buzzword salad.
- Following, why is adding a pride flag icon a more valuable use of time and effort than any of the other more common suggestions (feature updates, balance changes, meaningful visuals, trials, etc.)?
