i like the idea of having a different darker forum theme, but on the other hand, i also realize that this is going to be the last thing devs are going to do.
and if we're really talking about this, obviously, the devs would want the new theme to be actually themed after Town of Salem and not just prosilver with different colors. Salem technically did this, as it does actually use the same color scheme that the website use. however, as i said earlier, that stark white on a dark background is really not good. i think to match the website color scheme better, we need to change the whites into a bit more pastel green-off white-y color or turqoise.
i also made some mock up color pallete on paint, complete with mock up posts and left and right alignment.

Fixing Salem would work too
I'm not entirely sure that green is the best color to use, but it's better than white

Also stop derailing the thread

Technically it's about a prosilver dark mode
Which is basically what Salem is
Making Salem actually decent would be an acceptable alternative to adding a new theme

You mean like Salem?
If the colors aren't darkened to some degree, the contrast will be too high.

and what about making the colour of text bubbles like this: IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII #000080 or IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII #008080

The green is a yes from me, but the blue might be a bit too dark. I'm not entirely sure.
