The questioned ability stops Vampires from talking in night chat simply by existing.

This didnt work for spy and it doesnt work with vh.

Your issue might be with just Dracula's Palace as that is heavily in town's favor. VH usually doesn't lead to a huge problem in other modes.

Yeah, because in other modes evils can easily fakeclaim VH or just kill the VH (although they have no reason to do it). But since DP is the only gamemode focused around vamps, I think vamps should be balanced with that gamemode in mind. The only other possibility is all any, which isn't meant to be balanced.
But even if town wasn't OP in DPs, allowing VHs to read vamp chat is not the way to fix it. It forces vamps to play in a very basic and individual way since they can't strategize properly.

In Dracula's Palace, this mechanic completely prevents Vampires from sharing information or discussing tactics in night chat, rendering it redundant. The issue may not be as severe in AllAny, but it's still present. Vampires won't share their information early-game out of fear of an eavesdropping Vampire Hunter.

This attribute is well overdue it's retirement. It has a generally negative impact on gameplay by discouraging players from strategising with teammates at night.

False. All Any fixes a particular balance problem (that all other gamemodes suffer from), at the cost of introducing a number of other balance problems. It's a tradeoff, and the result of the tradeoff should still be as balanced as possible.

Chaos modes are meant to be fun, not balanced. Especially all any. No one goes there for a fair game. Implying the intent of all any is having a balanced game is wrong.

I find it strange that you would imply that playing an unfair game is fun.

Personally I don't think it's fun, that's why I don't play all any.
But I guess some people enjoy having a laugh at insane rolelists, even though they are completely unfair. Or they want easier neutral wins. Or they hate the meta. Or they are casual players who don't care about winning that much. And there are probably more reasons why people enjoy playing the gamemode than having a fair match.

What is unfair if it's guaranteed, can be quite fair if it's unexpected.

It's a running joke at this point that Town frequently doesn't have majority, yet Town still controls the votes because no one knows that Town doesn't have majority.

These are arguably balance fixes.

Now that the game has been updated, I want to bump this post to bring this suggestion back. I really think it's neccesary.
