Interesting change for SK

I’m not sure if anyone would agree with this suggestion, but I have an idea for a new feature for the Serial Killer role.

So the SK kills anyone who attempts to RB them, but what if there was a feature that allowed SK to kill whoever tried to attack them as well? The idea is that the feature works just like RBing, if someone attacks SK the SK will counter-attack them instead of attacking the target the player chose. The SK can only kill their attacker if they have low enough defense as the role would normally do, so vigilantes & mafiosos die if they try to kill SK but nothing happens if GF tries to attack the SK. With this feature the vigis can now essentially act as a substitute for an Escort but just the same way they can accidentally mislead the town due to Exe & GF having high def as well (including other roles that are not in Classic mode, which I’m only using for example).

The reason why I suggest this idea is because think about a real life serial killer, sure they would kill prostitutes but they’d also kill anyone who tried to get in their way or stop them, like Michael Myers for example.

So the Mafioso. The Serial Killer will kill the Mafioso instead of killing the townie he meant to attack.

That would not be in the SK's favor (and it would happen more often than the Vigilante version).

How would you propose it works with Coven leader? the CL has priority over the SK, so will control him out of the counter attack...

What happens when an Escort blocks a Serial Killer who is being controlled by the CL (in the current game)?

The CL's control overrides the SK's original choice, then the Escort's roleblock overrides that, then the SK's "counterattacks roleblockers" ability overrides the roleblock. The SK attacks the Escort.

The same principle applies here. The witch/CL control is just the first thing to control what the SK does; it's the last thing to control the SK that night that determines what the SK does in the end.

(I can see all sort of issues related to the fact that the player attacking the SK has the same priority as the SK, though. Even if the SK's priority is tweaked, what happens if three SKs attack each other in a triangle pattern?)

Sounds good to me. But I only play classic and not coven so I can't say whether it's a good idea for that mode.

That would depend whether the CLs drain attack happens before or after the control (i would imagine it happens after)...

What if the SK is attacked by multiple targets while staying home? What if he is attacked while RBed?
What happens when theyre double RBed? I dont think thats ever happened to me as SK....

The CL's drain attack can be blocked by a Bodyguard, so I think the "attack" portion happens at the normal priority for an attack.

A double-RB'd SK attacks both roleblockers.
